I hope so, the sooner that wretch is no longer manager the better. Obviously want us to win, and sure enough we probably we will, but still. Hopefully dire enough a performance to put some more pressure on the fuck. You already are winning, what do you mean? Hawl, I've spent half the day taking "English bastard" jibes, so to fuck with that nonsense, David.

Cheers guys. Wasn't trying to be awkward Dave!

I checked that, just making sure! It's been confirmed for in the morning once already, to be fair. Not by us, Sky I mean.
-
You git. Uncalled for! Take that as a yes, though.

Noty been following this thread. So has he signed then? Like actually signed this time, not on the way to West Ham for talks or anything, or still fannying around in some manner?
-
I'd take it, if only cause Adriano is younger and has more time to adapt and grow. Shevchenko was a stupid signing whatever way you look at it, he shouldn't have left Milan either. Doubt he will actually want to go to Inter though.
-
Cause they're broadening their game, our players aren't.
-
It's about all ego stuff now, they don't want to be lower paid than the likes of Shev' and Ballack.
-
That would be great, cheers. Got enough folk for this now. If anyone is still interested in helping out, PM me but it probably wouldn't be for this section anymore. Cheers.

Barton has said too much (not a lot, but something..) about Allardyce and us for him to turn to West Ham now. That said, the stupid money they're throwing at people could easily sway the best of us.

English players staying in England and not moving abroad has more effect on our game, to be honest. It's why we play so shite.

I enjoyed it. Admittedly some of the teams expected to perform didn't, but Argentina at the beginning played some great stuff, Germany were a breath of fresh air for once, the Italy/Germany semi was fucking epic, so fuck if it wasn't "great football", it's about the battle. There were some good games, if you actually think about it. And that's all that should matter, not expectations of who YOU think should do well. Was a let down if you only go into a WC expecting Brazil to do well. I think if we applied the same standards we have on this WC to every single stage and game of the others, we'd see just as dull a tournament, especially 2002. Also thought Germany as host put on a good show, and wish I'd gone over.

Got two in, and possibly the some resident opposing team fans to do their own lot. Last bump, as I reckon we only need perhaps one or two more.

Agree they're not the worst, it's a pretty unfair claim when we seen some of the trouble the Italians put up last year alone, but they're nowhere near the angels they make out. What annoys me most is the way they move the blame on to UEFA. There was plenty UEFA did do wrong, but they did not make the fans steal from each other, produce forgeries or storm the gates. Any other team on the planet would have accepted the ticket allocations given to them, whether they liked it or not comes second. Some Liverpool fans acted like it was their devine right to be in that stadium, I remember a few interviews the day after where some scumbag was was bragging about storming the gates. He should have been extraordinary renditioned back to the UK and given a good fucking slap.

Sorted, 'sake.

Was thinking about that only yesterday, Brummie, will be in touch...
-
Agreed. Disagree. Whats he done to you's? these plebs have nothing positive to contribute thus moaning pointlessly is their lot.
-
Amazing that Milan fans didn't do much, isn't it. Making that point kind of discredits their blame for UEFA though, so be quiet.

Read the article and you'll know. It's not a pre-match report, as we have those (match previews), it's an analysis of the team we're about to play. Their history, and recent history, star players, who to watch out for in the coming game, a bit about the fans, their stadium, European form/history, links with English football and that's about it. Depending on the writer, they may want to add more or scrap a part of it. It's open to whoever takes it on, but the above is an example of what we want. Obviously if it's on an English team, you take out the European parts, but much the same script.
-
Oh, its that our 1st Friendly? You've lost me. If you're talking about the example, it's from about 3 seasons ago.
-
No, it's of the team we're about to play.

Bump A few people been in touch, ideally a few more would be better so, yeah, bump.
