Tut tut. Matchday 44.. -
Hope this is a message to the media, and if it is, I'm well behind him.
-
As much as I hate all the shit coming out in the papers, and as much as I know it's all utter fabrication, I totally detest the image it will be painting of us around the country. And these things are important, sadly. Sitting here and dismissing it is all very well and good, but the damage is being done by the papers.
-
Only if Keegan wanted him. Personally wouldn't want to give the runt any wages.
-
Fucking hell, well played. This is what all footballers should be doing, and to think some of the money some other footballers are on and you never see this. He's just put most footballers to shame.
-
No, there's simply no need. Regardless of having any reasonable reason against it. Where does it stop? Why not just do it with all sports then? Big Venus Williams against Federer. A Tyson against some top woman boxer. Hey, why not, fuck gender, we're all equal. Api', and if what if they're not good enough? Or, what if a manager prefers playing guys cause he believes they're better, then the women all group together. Just keep it as it is, it's been fine for well over a century. Let women develop their own game, they moan that no one bothers with it. Perhaps that has something to do with women only deciding to play it in the last 20 odd years. No other sport is entertaining this idea, why should we?

Christ, thought Henry was a lot closer than that. I remember being glad he left the league so he wouldn't break the record. Looking at that, he'd never have got it.
-
I'd rather sit on theirs, than ours. Unless Keegan has whispered something in his ear regarding Given, I can't see why he wouldn't think normal service would resume come the new season. I know everyone's taken to Harper and his recent performances, but still.
-
Got to say, would jump at the chance if I was Harper. What, with him being a Liverpool supporter etc, the chance to play in the CL, to be honest, he'd be mad to stay. Last few years of his career and all that.
-
Great, that's my last game of the season ruined.
-
Personally I think he should get eased back into the team, I know it's kind of harsh on Harper, but I still consider Given to be the better of the two and that for me means he gets the place. I remember when this question would have been met sniggering. Not a dig at yourself, not in the slightest, I just find the views on Given awful odd some times. Still a nice question to be left with though, we're lucky to have the pair of them.
-
True, but the lack of improvement now shows that he can only rely on the money to pull him out of it, and nothing he has in his managerial repertoire is going to help us. Bad signs, nothing good about having a cheque book manager like.
-
I (obviously) don't have a season ticket, but I'd be more inclined to come down. I might actually see my second win.
-
I think I'd want him to sell us. As it would be HIS appointment that got us there, regardless of the fact that Allardyce may have played his role too.
-
You're judging Keegan on the performance of players who have been shit for most of the season. It's his job to motivate them. Which we all said, yourself included, of the likes of Souness, Roeder and Allardyce. I mean, wasn't that supposed to be what he's actually good at?
-
It was an insane appointment, and it's becoming more and more obvious every bloody week. I know he didn't set us back, but he's not going to take us on much further, with or without the cash. A top class manager would need tens of millions to get us back up 'there', Keegan will need hundreds of millions. Any half decent manager (and let me be clear Keegan USED to be a great manager) would be getting a team to perform to a respectable level. The old favourite, O'Neill for example.
-
Ah well. We got keegan lyke Wait til he gets some cash. He'll show Derby how it's done...
-
Wait and see what he does after spending some cash eh ? He'll get a better team, probably do a bit better, but even then, won't make his new team of superstars play to their true potential.
-
starting to look like the ridiculous decision the rest of the country said it was Be careful what you say though. There's still a lot of people who refuse to believe he's out of his depth. He's still the Messiah apparently... Like your way of thinking, however sad I am to admit it. Doesn't matter what money Keegan gets in the Summer, he's just not up there as a manager anymore. Regardless of fixtures, we shouldn't be getting humped like this all the sodden time. I think people are letting his past acheivements blind them from the glaring fact of what he's become.
-
There's expecting something, and expecting us to keep the scoreline respectable. Most of us can only see this going one way, though.
