I loved the west coast of Ireland when I went but I'd say i'd call the Scottish west coast more wild and (IMO) more beautiful. But yes that's just opinions at that point. Check out pictures of Glen Coe, Stac Pollaidh, Alchmelvich, Skye, Suilven, Mull etc.

What is it you like the look of in Ireland?

Edinburgh is amazing, you could spend a week there easily. Food, drink, art/culture and architechture are all top class. Of course the North Coast 500 is a ready made itinerary for the highlands, but if you can't do the whole thing I'd focus on the west coast and inner islands (Skye, Mull, Arran) as they're the most easily accessed and are really beautiful. Aim to do some outdoorsy stuff (climb a Munro, go to a beach sauna and have a wild swim, stay at a bothy), visit some distilleries. Get stuck into some whiskey in a warm pub after a long walk. All quality stuff. If you could manage to find a Highland games, that's decent fun and you might get to experience a ceilidh.

Can someone paste that shite from Daily mail?

He's managing players at the top of their game, ultra competetive elites. If they don't see that same hunger and ability in their manager, they're going to reject it. Of course Fab hated him.

I do think it's a crying shame hugle clubs with storied histories are just absolute fodder in european competitions now. Panathanaikos, Steau Bucharest, Celtic, Red Star Belgrade etc. All total chumps.

Surely if our product degrades so much that we're boring to watch - I.e. soul-less capitalism. then Germany, Spain or France may step up and be a more interesting league with different tactics or something? I'm not 100% why you feel like it's ossified now? Also, at some point growth is going to plateau and people will be looking to invest in higher growth leagues, right? Our TV deals aren't going to grow forever.

(Responding to York) Aye, agreed. As a counter-point, there were many decades where English teams and English leagues were less popular and less successful on the European stage. We still loved football, I didn't hate the Italians or the Spanish for it. I guess the problem is that we buy their best players to make our league better and theirs worse. The only players we can't buy are those at the very top clubs, which contributes to the horrendous imbalances in their leagues and further devalues their football. They need to sort themselves out ultimately. There's no reason people wouldn't want to watch a competetive La Liga, but Real and Barca have a stranglehold on the finances. That will ultimately be to their own detriment, surely?

Aye, he's got very little fight. It's not his game.
-
Maybe not this season (haven't watched them much since the manager change) but Real Madrid have been pretty successful without being gegenpressing monsters.

Since when did we become a horseshoe team? The moment we get it into wolt's feet we look like doing something

Joao Pedro: now that's what a 10 playing 9 looks like. Not what woltemade does.
-
Sorry Hanz but just cos you don't get why he's dressed like that doesn't mean he's mentally ill. It's a pretty big leap.

He'll be referencing chinese/cantonese salt and pepper flavouring.

I think this is the case with most set pieces for most teams. They're pretty low probability set pieces (corners and indirect free kicks). Most games have 5-10+ corners and it's not like every game has a goal scored or even a decent chance from them.

This is my plan but just seen he's a doubt?

Hojlund the most misspelled player name since Amanda Staverley hung up her singlet? (no I'm not doing the silly O, I don't have the option on this keyboard)
-
Thought he was our best player in the time he was on. Incredibly threatening, had their LB on toast consistently.

Lads gets smashed in the head every week. So unlucky.

I really want to read that but that's gruelling reading.
