  1. Ekitike is class and I would have been chuffed to get him. It's a waste, him sitting on the bench behind Isak.
  2. Free hit last week, went well. 78 points, more than 20 points better than my team would have done, so pretty happy with that. Used 2 of my 3 free transfers I'd banked this week, ditched Wirtz and Sarr for Semenyo and gone for a punt on Xavi Simons. See how that goes. Watkins stays for another week...

It was only a good price for him because he had literally destroyed everything good about the club. Any normal owner would have had us way above that value,
  4. This has gone too far, man. Stop. I can accept baller, but not this.

Anyone seen an "all woltemade' touches" video?

  7. Reckon he'll be an early success as Forest retain their Nuno training defensively, but as Ange gets his teeth into them they'll fall apart.
  8. I think if my best mate did what Isak did, with public opinion against him, I'd probably give him a bit of public support. Isak has been a prick, but you've got to have some perspective.
  9. You lads must get pure cheated on by your partners cos you're all jealous af
  10. I thought he was doing 'man of the hour' I'm thick though.
  11. He's the Liverpool manager Slap headed nonce is fair game.
  12. I think in an age of PSR, we should get him, have him score mid teens for a few seasons and sell him at 26yo for not much less than we bought him. Seems by far the most sensible option, even if I think he's a bit thick and angry. Wissa and Watkins too old for us. We need to maintain squad value.
  13. Anyone describe what happened with wor flags and the fan response to Isak in general on saturday? I was away and couldn't catch it live
  14. Well I was wrong and he's an awful cunt Apologies boys, trying to give the benefit of the doubt but this puts paid to that.
  15. Crossing poor, beating a man was exceptional. The lad in the first half was absolute toast. No one to aim for in the middle so going he just needs to gel with a striker to start putting good balls in.

35 is a great price if true. Won't get a better striker for less than that imo. Will leave us with 100m plus once Isak is sold, hopefully. Plenty to reinvest.
  17. True, true. Think he reckoned he's on the brink of a life changing transfer and didn't want to get injured playing the K-League all stars. It's shite but the club agreed to the lie that he was injured and have clearly agreed he'd be sold for mega cash. Liverpool then don't bid mega cash and Romano starts his leaks and then Isak starts looking the cunt. I think it looks awful but I'm not sure it was really in his control once he decided to try and get the transfer. His agent will be in his ear telling him this is how it works now (which it is) but yes, he never should have skipped the tour.
  18. Fair enough, I don't think it needed to happen like this. I think he didn't want to go on a meaningless pre-season tour, and the club agreed to a mutually beneficial lie whilst they got the ducks in a row to get him sold and a replacement in. I think if that all happened we'd all be relatively fine with it. The real issue is how the club have absolutely fucked it with the succession of failed bids. Is that Isak's fault? Does that make him more of a cunt? I don't know if that's in his control, really. It's mostly looking loads worse because it's all played out over fucking Romano's feed. In the past he'd have been injured, some paper talk, we'd have signed Ekitike and he'd have gone to Liverpool with our blessings. Liverpool, Romano and NUFC have come together to make us look like mugs IMO. I understand we all hate looking like mugs but not sure how much Isak is to blame. I don't really hate him for it, think current transfer culture and Liverpool trying to play us for fools (lowball bids, buying our targets) is more to blame.
  19. I'm happy we're in a strong situation with his contract, and he's made a mistake trying to force a move from a weak position. I'd be very happy for us to use our strong position to make him stay and get the most money for him, and 100% the club comes first. I'm just surprised at everyone calling the lad a cunt cos he wants to go to Liverpool. Think it's quite understandable for him to go there considering their position and ours. If I was a swedish lad I'd be off to Liverpool in a second. They've bought amazingly from a position of strength and we look like we're going to be mid-table at best.
  20. It's not. It's how football and every other employment situation has always worked. This is a tale as old as time. It's just we've forgotten what it feels like because we've never had anyone worth buying.
