Really happy about this transfer. Kid seems a good lad and looks quality. Looms ready to be backup and he can make the position his own if he's good enough straight away, very different to both Burn and Targett.

I went into it quite liking/respecting them, came out of the first episode hating every scene they were in. I felt palpable relief when the footballers/eddie/the fans came on screen that's who and what I associate this amazing team with. They're the cash, I don't really care about the cash. Scenes like where they were geeing up the team after the semi final win were cringeworthy. I do believe they have the clubs best interests at heart and that they care, but playing up to the camera and all the schmooze vibes really didn't sit well with me. I guess they could become more natural in episode 2, I hope so. Like I said, it felt much more natural in the scenes where they were negotiating for Gordon, rather than when they were telling us how amazing the fans were and how we deserve the best and blah blah...

I have kept out of this thread for fear of spoilers, so apologies if this has been covered a million times: Watched Ep1 the other night, went into it quite liking the humanity of our non saudi owners, but after that first episode I absolutely hate the lot of them. All absolutely awful cunts Wow, Staveley and Jamie Reuben are horrendous, the Saudi cunt is an absolute cringe. So much management bollocks, barely any humanity, just absolutely hated it all. Loved the Longstaff and Eddie stuff, just hated every moment in the boardroom with those twats Enjoyed the bidding for Gordon bits, found that relevant to the story, but the rest seemed like awful PR stuff for crap people.
