It didn't really change the game though. We looked poor right from the start. We would of course have better chances with eleven men, but it's a part of the game. It's not impossible to get something out of a game with ten men. It isn't, you're right, but it's bloody hard when you're 1 down and down to ten for as long as we were. Forget today and move on for me, we always knew we has a very tough start, and fixing last seasons mess is going to be a long process.

There'll be plenty more chances to give him games. We were dead on our feet and desperately needed an infusion of pace, not a player who immediately looked more wrecked than the guy he replaced. Siem became nothing but a passenger. Even if he does need time on the pitch - this wasn't the game for it. it was 2-2 when he came on. We needed the subs before that. The point doesn't change though. The completely wrong guy to turn to. He got nothing out of it, and more importantly our team continued to struggle for it. I agree with that 100%, i was shouting for them at around 70 min mark, could have been earlier still. Still think he needs minutes, and, until he gets them, there'll always be better options, but we'll agree to disagree on that point.

Thought he was good yesterday, personally. His piruouttes are up there with parker, at times, but overall he played well.

His kicking is woeful. Needs to work on that, hard.
