    Jose?

What a shit article, they can't even work out who our chairman is.
  2. The warehouse was sold by a Shepherd to a Shepherd. I think Freddy thought Bruce said whorehouse, not warehouse.
  3. Wullie gets my vote for understatement of the year. 'That was bad.'
  4. I've got to agree with Shak, when we have lost a game we have very little to take out of the games because of our style, or lack of it. Our brand of football isn't easy on the eye so we need to take points or we've got nothing. Look at our defeats and the positives can be counted on one hand.
  5. Sorry Yorkie if I read your post wrong, I still think we should be doing better than we are considering who we've played. How much was the limited budget Allardyce had?
  6. Has Allardyce ripped the club apart and started again? I think he's only done what all new managers do, he's brought in his own people and methods, they all do that.
  7. If Allardyce is going to get more time then he'll have to earn it, so far he's looked like a fish out of water. It's early days for him but he can't afford too many days like today. I wondered if he could adapt to us even before we'd kicked a ball, I'm still wondering.

  9. Allardyce has to earn the right to keep the fans on his side, so far he hasn't delivered, he hasn't lived up to the hype. No excuses, we need him to deliver, I'm wondering if his negativity is getting to the players? We change the way we approach away games and Allardyce blames the players, they lack confidence and I blame the manager for that.
  10. We must get something from this game, if we don't then Allardyce will be under massive amounts of pressure. I doubt he's had the sort of pressure that a defeat at the hands of the mackems would bring with it.
  11. I'm not in the house, I'm posting from my phone and not doing a very good job. The piece of shit has a mind of its own.
  12. I've seen a few in here that I'd agree with, the mackems twice, 1-4 when Rowell grabbed three and Entwhistle got the other and the play-off defeat. Also the Man U cup final, I thought we had a great chance when Roy Keane went off injured, I can't remember ever being as down as that, I couldn't get out of London quick enough. Another bad one was Brighton at home in the FA Cup, I think that was the game that we should have won but the ref' had other ideas, it was either Michael Peck or Trelford Mills, these two must be the two worst ref's ever for us.
  13. I was all for keeping Harper in goal when Given was brought back but it's a pity that he's now injured again after getting a chance to play himself in, not that he's done much. I wonder how Harper feels about coming back, will he think he can play a blinder then find himself back on the bench once Given is fit again?

    Souness Vs Roeder

We all lost out by employing the two managers, that's all that's important.
  15. Technology will move on and we'll eventually be able to build something on the east stand, I wouldn't be surprised if we could do something by going up rather than out. I think the hassle would be getting foundations which are strong enough to take so much weight over such a small footprint.
  16. I'm not sure that Leazes Terrace is the problem, a few houses are closer to the ground, I'm not sure if they're Terrace Place or St James Street, they run at 90' to Leazes Terrace. I'm surprised we didn't try to do something with the Milburn when that was built, it should have been built closer to Barrack Road.
  17. Neville's x 2, Giggs, Beckham, Scholes and Butt are a few I can think of in the mid to late 90's, I would think at least 4 of those won it while still a teenager.

    Souness Vs Roeder

If that's the case then I'm sure you'll be able to provide a link to this weeks or even last weeks argument about the same shit.

    Souness Vs Roeder

I don't insist on having the same argument on a weekly basis with NE5 so there you go.

    Souness Vs Roeder

I can't understand how 104 people can vote for either of those 2, to those who did, thanks for a good laugh.
  21. The fact that N'Zogbia was 18 shouldn't come into it, Man U won a championship with a team which had a load of 18 year old's in it. N'Zogbia may or may not have been our best player, I can't remember many better. Duff was mainly a back-up player at Chelsea, he wasn't the same player that played so well for Blackburn, don't get me wrong I expected better from him because of what I'd seen of him in the few games he played that I was able to watch. He wasn't as good as he had been and didn't look brilliant before we got him. I still thought that he was a bargain when we bought him, I just thought he was a purchase that we didn't need when we had limited funds but that's been done to death. I agree with both you and Baggio about how we should do, we've still got time to improve.
  22. I wouldn't try to tell you that we wouldn't have got more points if Owen had been fit but that would have been down to having him rather than the manager. Roeder struggled because he couldn't get the best out of his players and seemed to do better when he had no decisions to make. It appeared that when Roeder made a decision we got beat, when the team picked itself we did OK. My expectations of Allardyce are that he should do better than Roeder did if he's a better manager, I do think he is a better manager but I think he might be too stuck in his ways and that might prevent him from being an even better manager. I'm not convinced that he's going to reach the heights that he should be capable of reaching but only time will tell, I hope he proves to be more adaptable than he seems to have been so far.
  23. N'Zogbia was arguably our best player the season before and Roeder went out and spent 33% of his transfer budget on left wing, I'm not that surprised that the player had a lip on.
