I'm giving him the rest of this season, if he carries on the way he has so far. We don't need to get rid of him now but he needs to show that he knows what he's doing, he hasn't done that up until now as he's changing things far too often.

I didn't see the Souness comment but the things which are puzzling me under him are starting to become second nature under Allardyce. Newcastle under Allardyce are playing exactly the way the Bolton fans who came on here said we'd play and we all told them to piss off because they were talking shite. I'm not sure if I responded that way to them but I'll offer an apology to them now if I did.

We've been patiently waiting to win something for almost 40 years, we've been patiently waiting to win a domestic trophy for more than 50 years and it's getting closer to the 100 year mark since we won a league title, I would think an 80 year wait is quite a while to be able to claim we've been more than patient.

Allardyce is far too negative, he only has himself to blame for feeding the kneejerkers. How long does it take for the kneejerking to become valid?

Why does Allardyce have to change the team every game? I know we lost last week but that doesn't mean he's got to make so many changes from one game to the next. Players are never going to settle if they are in and out from one week to the next.

If they are going to write shite you would think they'd put a little bit of thought into it and dress it up a little, somebody got paid for writing that.

I've said this about players before, I have no problem if they throw toys out of the pram because they want to play, pulling a sickie in a huff would be totally different if that's what he's done.

I wouldn't boycott a brand because it had somethng to do with the mackems but this is taking the piss.

If I could clone one player that I'd seen play for us then it would be Beardsley, I'd pay the admission just to see him. If he was born outside of Britain he would have been raved about throughout world football, if he'd been born in Brazil he would have been a legend.

I love it when we win and hate it when we lose but wouldn't expect or want Allardyce sacked before the end of the season. I hope the club have targets for where they want to be at the end of the season and that should be the only time that a decision is made unless soemthing goes really wrong. If they have set a target of 6th then Allardyce should be safe if we reach that position, if not then they should look elsewhere.
