He had plenty of chances for somebody who had no service, he was poor in front of goal and squandered chances that he should have buried.

The only positives have been Elliot and Bigirimana, Santon, Taylor and Perch were OK. The point is probably all we deserve because the game was poor and a draw probably a fair result.

He shouldn't be third choice but he is and that's not his fault, he does his best which at the minute isn't good enough.

I doubt that Krul would have saved both, I'm not sure he would have got either but we'll never know. The quicker he's back the better though.

Hopefully that 2nd half kicks the season off for us, it was by far the best we've played so far.

He's definitely matured but I think that's got as much to do with his age and also his leg break focusing him on his football. Other than that I see a player who has the same game as before with a better head on him.

He didn't save the one that crossed the line though The disallowed goal in the first was the usual pathetic Harper push out to the opposition player. Chalked off so we got out of jail. Didn't save the disallowed goal in the second half. It was over the line. Pathetic at their second goal that counted. On the plus side he only kicked the ball out the park from bye kicks on a couple of occasions tonight. If Harper hadn't got a hand to the ball that crossed the line it wouldn't have been in any doubt and would have counted, the second would have beat most keepers.

Simpson isn't playing, it's good to see somebody being blamed for tonight and Harper is as easy as anybody.

I'd bring Ba and Bigi on for Perch and Marveaux. Stick Ba wide left, Ben Arfa wide right and Anita right back.

I haven't seen an increase in the debate about our transfer window over the last couple of weeks and if it has increased it will be down to the injuries picked up in that time rather than people having more time to dwell. Since our last game we've lost Coloccini and Krul.

Nothing is being said that hasn't been said when we were playing, we didn't do enough in the window and we don't need an international break to see that.
