I don't understand why he gets played a right back and have no idea why Anita was taken off and Perch sent back to right back. Perch can look good in the middle but we're short out wide when he plays on the right.

If that was the reason then how come Obertan still gets games?

He was like a statue at times and they ran around him as if he wasn't capable of moving.

Ba has been our best forward this season and wasn't the obvious forward to drop, why should he respect that decision?

On here, fringe players are either good or bad based on their last performance. Which is nothing wrong about, though. Ronaldo obviously has a point there which I do agree with. But if a fringe player has a good performance in the league after being s*** the last months or so, then there is a reason to say he's "good". Ronaldo is right and if Pardew picked the team the way some people on here think we'd probably get relegated because we'd never have a settled side.

He did support the team in the best way that he could, he earned us a point from a game that was going away from us.

I for one loved his "angry" reaction to being dropped at Everton, I'd be disappointed if a top player didn't get upset at not being picked. I would much rather have a player who wants to play and score in every game rather than a player like Owen who only cares about money and is happy to sit on his arse to earn his wages. I've never understood anybody moaning about players who actually want to play, even if the player sometimes goes a bit over the top and spits him dummy out about not getting games.

Kevin Nolan wasn't creative, he couldn't dribble or run and probably doesn't know what the flanks are so you are describing a player who is nowt like him really.

The difference between playing in front of 32,000 and playing in front of 4,000 is just as big. I wouldn't think about playing Elliot on Sunday, if he plays I hope he plays well.

Pardew has done a complete 180 in this competition compared to the teams he's fielded in domestic cups against lesser opposition. We've fielded strong and unmotivated teams at Brighton and Stevenage and paid the price. It will be interesting to see if this is him learning a lesson or just not giving a shit about a competition we tried so hard to qualify for.

His first save was the pick of the saves he made, he hasn't looked that good for us so far and isn't third choice for nothing. Hopefully has can prove he's worth playing as we could do with a better 2nd choice than we've got.
