I doubt the Xisco transfer came about because of Milner going, I don't think the two are connected and we have had problems getting frowards fit this season. It's just a pity that Xisco has also been injured because somebody within the club has seen something in him.

I thought that the Christmas thing they had up was quite funny but that timer has made me cringe. I honestly don't know what they stand for and I'm further from knowing that than at any time since they formed. I find it hard to comprehend that somebody thought that the timer was a good idea, I'm really confused by them now and have no idea what that was meant to achieve.

If we can beat Spurs next week then the players will have a lot more self belief and Spurs will be right back where they were when Redknapp took over with no more honeymoon periods to look forwards to. The game on Sunday is potentially a huge game for both clubs and a defeat for Spurs will potentially have them back in the bottom 3.

I understand that but it's as if people look at results in isolation, I still think we'll finish higher than last season but not as high as I would like or as high as I hoped for at the beginning of the season.

We kept going at them after Martins went off, we don't usually do that and it made a difference.

The mackems made some noises during the game about what they were going to do to us afterwards but must have forgotten while wallowing in self pity. I've never seen as much hatred between our fans as that day but nothing kicked off, we just ripped the piss out of them.

I was in the corner that game, if they did go then they must have celebrated our goal, everybody went crazy and they would have stood out. I did hear rumours that mackems were going to turn up but didn't see any, some of our lot were looking for them during the game.

I walked to the ground from Seaburn station and could hear Newcastle songs, my brother said it was Gillingham fans taking the piss. We walked around to the back of the Fulwell and heard Blaydon Races, again, my brother said it was Gillingham fans. We walked around to the back of the clock stand and could see massive cues of our fans. I've only ever been to 2 club games when we haven't been playing, I doubt I'd see anything like that again if I went to another thousand neutral games.

I went to Roker Park when they were relegated to the third by Gillingham. We had a good couple of thousand down and we didn't hide who we were, we had our own section in the clock stand plus a few hundred in the Roker.

I've got to give him credit today, he appears to have learned a lesson after last week.

I've gone from 10 to 1 after today.

That doesn't make him any better than he is.
