I've noticed that he positions his body as if he was going to go in one direction but goes the other and takes the ball with him almost every time, he makes the person trying to defend against him look daft.

I think he's got excellent technique, the way he swerves away from a challenge is brilliant and he tried one pass yesterday with the outside of his boot which split the defence. Owen and Martins will love working with this bloke and his workrate for a gifted player is also top class.

I've got less of a problem with those who boo after a poor performance, booing before a poor performance is just daft.

I think he does try but he's not capable of getting a shot on target for some reason.

I'll be amazed if any of the players are moronic enough to turn on a mate because people boo him, I'd expect the opposite.

The money was available to Allardyce but he didn't spend it all, we know Keegan has had something like £27 million worth of offers turned down for players in different positions. I think it's safe to assume he has more if he wants it.

Gutierrez had an excellent game, he worked his bollocks off all game and combined very well with N'Zogbia in the first half before switching wings in the second. So far he looks like being an excellent signing but we'll know better by Christmas if he's going to be a good player for us.
