Gutted as hell, especially because it's Liverpool again. Good to see him go though, I'd rather him not be here than sulk about and ruin the mood. To give him credit, he stuck with us through the darkest of times instead of jumping ship when we got relegated. He stayed through the season in the championship and helped stabilise us by helping us stay up last season. I feel that Jose felt he had a lot to owe to Newcastle and now he feels that he's paid off his debt and ready to move on. I find it hard to disagree.

Don't think Tiote is on the more creative type, I'd take him out and add Colloccini in that list. He does seem to bring us some creativity from the back.

The thing is that if Chelsea were to win this game then it could basically come down to a goalscoring contest between the 2 sides in the last 2 games. Whatever happens today, next week's a hugely tough game. Sunderland played well at their place but played them at exactly the right time. :tiote:

This game is interesting, part of me doesn't want Manchester to win the title, part of me wants Park to win another Premiership medal, part of me wants Chelsea to lose so that they are out of the title-race before they meet us, part of me fears a black-lash from a Chelsea team playing out of anger next week. Not sure what to feel about this game.

Everything I know about football I learned from FM, so I have to ask about work permits and all that. i dont think we'd be after players who arent capped, and both nations are highly ranked by fifa. Our most exciting young (U-20) prospects right now are mostly just on the fringes of the national squad, so they wouldn't fulfill the cap requirement. Same for the Japanese. We don't want any of South Korea's first-team regulars. At this point they're all already not good enough or not realistic. Be honest for a second. Would you want your most promising youngster playing for us? Learning from Shola? Getting Ki Sung Yeung from Celtic is a good start. Probably would cost anywhere between 4-8 mil depending on how much we can stir interest and unsettle him but could be one of those 'tiote' signings, really controls the pace and flow of the game which we lack, good passer, good long-distance shooter and good set-piece taker. Has Korean caps too so work-permit won't be a problem. Would love to see him add a bit of magic to his game under HBA and some steel from Barton.
