That's because you don't understand the complexities involved in getting a signing done. We know it's happening, nobody promised us a time.

As much as I love winding up @Froggy, someday we will have to learn that fans of other clubs often have a better handle on their players and managers that we do. To call McTominay shite, just lacks any sort of nuance. A lad like that under SAFs Man Utd would have gone on to have a career similar to someone like Fletcher IMO, who was a great squad player and top professional. Personally, I think the past year might have stunted his development irreparably but I wouldn't rule out ETH getting a tune out of him in some capacity.

Adam P is my guilty pleasure.

Oh come on....... If they announce this in the morning when I'm working I will be fuming.

Aye from the youtube videos I've seen, he's absolutely massive. Going to be fun if him and Big Dan Burn play together.
-
Hopefully the media team had already prepared a video and are simply adding some footage.

Still the best signing we have made this summer.

It's about getting good deals as much as anything. I don't think they particularly care how much they spend in total, as long as each deal is worth it. So far, only Wood has been over priced.

To be fair, Man Utd mob their sporting director but that's more of a lynch mob.
-
It annoys me that I'm essentially waiting for someone to create a fancy video.

I'd argue that Bruno and Botman are at least of those calibre (diaby etc) but I agree that things get harder with attacking players.

6th and above= dreamland 7th = really good season 8th= par 9th= think we could have done better Top 10 isn't a target or a successful season. 7th should be our short term aim. A trip to Wembley would certainly have a big say on how successful our season has gone.

By pie in the sky you mean ambitious? There's clear interest there but I think we won't act unless we can get players below 40m.
-
I think that would be smart for all parties.

Reckon Broja could have legs but we will have to wait for Chelsea to make their moves first.

Hope said 3x30m signings. So by my reckoning: 1. Botman 2. Striker 3. Winger Targett was last years budget and Pope's fee will be easily recouped through sales. Although, I think we will struggle to get the required quality in both striker and winger positions for 30m a piece, we may end up kicking the striker can down the road and concentrate exclusively on a winger. I've said all along that I think we will end up signing Ivan Toney and I will stick by that and I know I'm contradicting myself.

Surely all the paperwork/contract on this is done? I'm fairly sure it will be a case of signing on the dotted line. Fingers crossed it can be announced tonight.

It doesn't even make any sense either. If we are looking for Ekitike alternatives, that suggests we have at least the 25m we were outlaying on him. Besides, any loan deals we may do won't be without cost. The guys a muppet. However, one thing he will be correct about is a period of quietness while we concentrate on outgoings and the start of pre season.

You can feel his hatred for Newcastle. His journalism is always tainted by emotion. Luke Edwards would love nothing better than everything to go wrong at NUFC, so that he can talk about Steve Bruce.
-
Where do we reckon he's flying from?
-
Totally my thoughts. Botman was key for me. He was their no1 CB target and someone who we would have found hard to find to replace. Now we need some sauce in attacking areas, but there's an abundance of choice and we can afford to strike the best deals over the next 2 months. I also think we need to wait for other clubs to start their business, that will open the door to sales and more opportunities. I couldn't care less about Ekitike, it's time for us to make him and his agent stew.

He's like some car crash I can't help looking at.
