IMO, we should keep him on our books. Loan him out to a Premiership club or a good championship club. I say this because there is every possibility in the next 3 years or so Krul will be heavily targeted by some big clubs. I don't want Krul to leave but we must carry an alternative. If Forster isn't happy on our bench, offer him to opportunity to be loaned out for a couple more seasons, with the "possibility" of becoming our number one. If Krul stays (hopefully), then sell Forster in 3 years, when hopefully his price wil have rocketed. This only works if Forster agrees to stay mind.

I think they leave one of the keeper spots, for a young keeper to gain experiance. As long as Forster stays north of the border he will struggle to make the England squad. Maybe that's why he is stalling over staying at Celtic.

I'm sure they have said on several occasions that they scout loads of potential targets and try and pick off the best ones. For example, i'm certain that Mariappa was way down the list and that's why we decided not to put any real effort to get him in january. I assume that players like Mariappa are no longer on the radar and that we will be back onto first choice targets. i.e it would make total sense for us to be looking at more than one right back.

I wouldn't want to go into the new season with just Cisse anyway (as an out and out striker). Forget Best and Shola, they can't cover the void that Cisse would leave if he was injured for a long period. Therefore, should Ba leave we would need another striker regardless of whether we signed a Hoilett or Moses.

That said, there's nothing wrong with being positive about moving on without him. If he stays, great. If he doesn't, we will move on quick enough.
