At their best this would be a canny front six Parker Dyer Emre Martins Owen Luque Although, i'm convinced Luque has gone.

If in 3 years time and we have achieved 3 consecutive top 6 finishes then i would be all for going for one of those dream managers. Right now we need someone with the tools to build our shattered bricks back up, Sams the man for me.

Boo Hoo eh? 12 months ago i would have cried about this, now i'd just want to see Nolan come in the door. Why would you want to swap one s*** player for another? I rate Nolan and i also rate Parker. Parker has been poor because of poor coaching from Roeder and Nolan is one of Sams boys. IF Parker wants out, i won't cry about it, i would just want him replaced TBH.

There are ALOT of players that could potentially be gone, simply because of thier atrocious performances this season. Personally, i would like to see half of them stay at be coached propa. GONE: Baba, Carr, Bramble, Moore (obv) Gooch, Ramage (loan) STAY: Parker, Emre, Dyer (Unsure) Duff, N'Zogbia, Sibierski. Can anyone notice the correlation between the players in my gone section. Whats wrong with saying these, btw? Don't get me wrong Rocker most of it is true but i hate hearing it by every player and manager that comes through the door. I think it's to do with the fact that all of them come in and talk about the lack of trophies and we NEVER get any closer to the promise land. For once i would i either like to see: A. Someone come in and say "Cutt the crap, this is a potentailly big club but that counts for nothing we need to win games and prove it" or B. Come in, say all that stuff and actually deliever!

I've always been of the opinion that teams should always aim higher than what their fans expect. That way if sam comes in and rattles it into the players we can get into the champions league, when we fall short and into the uefa cup the seaon can be a big success. Like most people say improvements in defence and all round organisation will do me. We aint a million miles off UEFA cup as it is so i voted for it.

I'm looking forward to the likes of Parker, Emre, Dyer, Martins all getting defined roles in the team that can suit them and us. For me, all players that could be great with right coaching and the correct tactics.

If we are planning on playing that system, then he would be perfect for one of the wide men in a three pronged attack. He would have to beef up in order to play through the middle, can't fault his workrate though.

Aye the future is bright for Villa. Without looking to much into their squad: Strikers: Carew, Adbangthhor, Moore and Young (not a bad little four) Midfielders: Petrov, Barry, Maloney, McCann (decent with a right mid added) Defenders: Mellberg, Bouma, Lausen (have all improved under O'Neill) A couple of signings and they should be looking to europe but not if us and big sam can help it.

Henry will be gone IMO.

I think O'Neil is twice the manager Allardyce is tbh. I think O'Neill is three times the manager Martin Jol is TBH.

This. Owen's a cracking player but we aint going sit around worrying about replacing him because he has barely played for us to replace him in the first place. I'm not Darren Bents biggest fan but for the 9m talked about he would give us more games and more productivity in games because of it. I say if Owen doesn't want to be here get rid and give the money to Big Sam WHEN he's here.
