When Liverpool and Manchester City were chasing each other I think that Liverpool burnt themselves out which resulted in a poor next season

Looking forward to seeing him on the left. I think he his deceptively quick and knows when to run and when not. He is also a better finisher than Gordon. Willock has been sadly disappointing so can't see him playing there

I think his wife gave birth recently and he and his family love the north east. Money is nice but living in Saudi is a different ball game

I wish all the players and managers would stop spitting, disgusting habit and unnecessary. I used to play a lot of football but don't recall players spitting all the time

I think that Bruno was better in his first season here than what he is now. He used play some delightful passes on a regular basis but these days he seems more obsessed with trying to win free kicks. I don't know if this coincides with him being made captain, something else that doesn't seem to suit him

Were Liverpool really trying to win that game?

He never seems to look up until he has the ball at his feet.

I think Kraft deserves a mention for the way he fitted seamlessly into the formation having not played regularly for some time

On one occasion he had the ball trapped between his feet, an Arsenal player on top of him and he still managed to clear it. Pope would have panicked and possibly lost it. Dubs is far more comfortable with the ball at his feet than Pope and it's becoming more and more important for goalkeepers to have that ability

We have probably 6/7 players who are top notch. They have to play really well to cover for our weaker players and they can't do that every week. When a couple or more of our top players have an off day , like yesterday, it makes the whole side look average. We have made incredible strides during the EH era and made some great signings, Trippier was the start and we've added to that. Hopefully we will add a couple more over the next few months

A reality check today. Teams challenging for the top don't get played off the park like we did today.

Surprised it's taken so long to get back in the mix. I've always really rated him and taking the Chelsea job was a big mistake
