I think a lot of people would have had Veron, on the form he was in pre-Man Utd. I'm sure you knew better of course. Yup. He was played in the wrong position for Man Utd if you ask me, I still stand by that. At Lazio his best form was playing just off the striker, but he was asked to play a lot deeper for Man Utd. I thought the deeper role really suited him, but the football here was just too fast for him. Couldn't hack it when the brutes started kicking the shit out of him. Still a quality player and would have done well if the team was built around him (which it wasn't).

They're playing Fletcher Carrick Scholes Giggs in midfield. Honestly, I think we can take them. Scholes and Giggs have gotten slower every season and being old, they'll probably need a few games to get up to speed. Fletcher's shite, Zoggy should rape him down the left (if he plays). If we're positive enough, we can get a point out of this because their midfield is way weaker than normal.

There's no doubt that Wullie's not the most impartial observer when it comes to Tottenham Saying that, Dawson is a mighty big pile of shit. He must have lost his marker at least 5-10 times from free-kicks, corners and rebounds yesterday. At least with Knight, he's got some cover in front of him in the form of Reo-Coker, Barry and now Sidwell. Similar to how Taylor looked good when he had some real cover in front of him towards the end of last season. Dawson just suffers because he's crap and he's got no one to hide behind.
