this snow better hurry up and disappear. Our best chance of getting a result is playing them this weekend, yes we have a few players missing but they are missing key men and are out of form, have off field issues and confidence has been dented. It would just be our luck that the game gets postponed and we end up playing them in the new year and have to face the likes of a fully fit Lampard,Essien Terry etc.
-
he needs another kick up the arse, was living in easy street with no competition then suddenly Ben Arfa came and he was out the team, when he got back in for the next few weeks he was playing really well, he even managed to score!!! Now Ben Arfa is out and he knows he's not under any pressure to perform as no one is there to take his place.
-
er why not just make it simple and put them in the proper positions??
-
So are relegation clauses. haha very true and now slightly late we have started putted them in!
-
i have no doubt that Barton, Colo and now Williamson will have been fined, its pretty common practice for sendings off to be followed by club fines. They're normally in the contract.
-
They both played in last weeks reserve game against Man City and think Taylor's played the last 3 reserve games.
-
never saw him but everyone i know who saw him raves about him. My old man reckons he was out of this world and tells me that all the time!! He may only have played 33 games but still plenty time to make an impression, look at the impression we have of the likes of Tiote and Ben Arfa and they've hardly played 10 games between them. He would never have had his career cut short if he played now, players recover from thoses injuries nearly all the time these days or even ten years ago.

canny goal that Coyle scored when he played for Boltons reserve during the week!
-
how long before he gets banned again then? my prediction is he'll get booked at WBA and miss the Liverpool game.
-
he's probably just shitting himself at the prospect of playing us next week and losing 3 on the spin!
-
two i heard yesterday in the pub before the game were Nolan one, Nolan two Nolan three and Shola two with a nick nack paddywack give the dog a bone all the mackems fucked off home you know she said no you know she said no oh Titus Bramble you know she said no
-
well after such a bad weekend at least the one plus point is that none of the bottom 4 in the league won so we still have a little cushion on the relegation places. Just a pity 5th bottom Blackburn won.
-
i think Vuckic has looked better in every game he played during the carling cup run and played well against Arsenal when he was played more in his natural position rather than as a central 2 as he did against Accrington and Chelsea. If we drop Nolan back into midfield alongside Tiote and Shola is still not 100%(he didn't look fit against Bolton) then i wouldn't have a problem playing Vuckic behind Carroll.
-
i fancy us to get a result and will be hoping for the likes of Malouda, Drogba and Anelka to pick up knocks in the champions league in midweek!
-
Can't even think of any youngsters appearing on the horizon that will suddenly have a breakout season that can play on the right. Not saying that's the answer, but it'd be great if it was an option. i know i was thinking that myself, we have 4 promising midfielders Vuckic, Fergie, Inman and possibly Donaldson but none play on the right!!

still can't believe how bad that was yesterday, a total shambolic performance from start to finish and felt sorry for Krul who was left horribly exposed by the so called defenders in front of him and Carroll who was left up front on his own with no support! Guthrie showed again that he is a championship midfielder, people might say that he was playing out wide but the fact is that he is a yard too short of pace whereever he plays, Smith just isn't good enough anymore while Jose and Jonas were terrible down the left. Jose gave the ball away more times in the first 20 mins than he has done all season and him messing around in the corner with Colo led to the first goal. Colo just had a mare and sadly looked like the player that looked so shaky in our relegation season, hopefully just a blip and not history repeating himself as in that season after a good start it was around this time that his form dipped and he was exposed against the pace, power and strength of some PL forwards. Krul 5.5 Simpson 4 Jose 3 Colo 3 Williamson 4 Smith 4 Guthrie 4 Nolan 5 Jonas 4 Shola 5 Carroll 7 At least Tiote is back next week and i'd bring in both Campbell and Taylor next week as well. Sadly we are still struggling for a right midfielder as not sure Routledge is the answer either.

the U18's start the quest to win the FA youth cup with an away game at Dulwich Hamlet who beat Yeovil tonight. Hopefully the team can do as well as last season when we were beaten in the semi's by Villa.

Just when you think they can't get any sadder!! http://www.true-faith.co.uk/tf/features.nsf/0/1D7D657A9E37FA56802577DE0062016B?OpenDocument

And its against City so their team might be intresting as well, f***ing shame for you guys to miss out on this. don't think Man City's team will be that strong, more likely just there kids, can't imagine they have many senior players there this week with all the internationals on.
-
i'd play the following side SODERBERG TAVERNIER TAYLOR CAMPBELL FERGUSON NEWTON DONALDSON McLAUGHLIN AIREY BEST XISCO
-
i'm not his biggest fan and if it was up to me i'd have got shot of him ages ago but after Lovenkrands woeful performance at the weekend i would be tempted to give Xisco his chance this week, although i would have him in the reserves first on Tuesday to sharpen him up!! The lad rarely shakes a leg and is lazy but would dangle the carrot of a chance in the first team if he performs in the reserve game. If he doesn't play in the reserves then there's no point even considering him for the Bolton game as he won't be fit enough.
-
strange week to play a reserve game, we have the likes of Inman, Vuckic, Dummett, Edmondson, Kadar, Alnwick all away on International duty
-
hopefully not, he can now have a weeks rest and extensive treatment. more chance of being fit doing that than playing a game midweek. Obviously we'll have to wait till 2moro to see how serious it is, hopefully its something that settles down in a couple of days and he's ok for the weekend.
-
hope thats true about Carroll, any slight hint of an injury and i hope the club are pulling him out sharpish, we already have Shola injured, the last thing we need is for Carroll to aggravate an injury in a pointless England game and miss the Bolton game. Obviously it will be a shame for Carroll but NUFC comes first.
