is Clemmitt that twat who's on look north?
-
Thought the 15 mins he "played" at the begining of the 2nd half before he was subbed was a disgrace, showed no interest whatsoever! Gutted if he does leave cos a on form fully committed Beye is a helluva player.

i've seen Forster play about 40 times, based on those performances i'd hate to think he was our no.2 and I do Hope Krul stays i've seen forster play once (the liverpool reserve game that was on live)...he had no poise, poor positioning, was clumsy, seemed to have no teamwork with the rest of the team. STOPPED EVERYTHING THOUGH. In all seriousness Forster has got to be the most improved player at the club, but still has me a nervous wreck watching him, capable of producing some brilliant saves but liable to drop clangers from nowhere. I honestly thought he was finished when a few years back he crumbled in the Northumberland senior cup final when he had to be subbed and replaced by Krul at HT, got so bad he could hardly clear the ball to the edge of the area when taking goal kicks and as the abuse and micky taking of the Blyth fans increased he got worse and worse.

Would be suprised if he went there although not suprised that he'll be attracting interest as the lad is a class act but they already have a highly rated young keeper in Fabianski who Wenger rates very highly.

i'd rather he go to the team, home or abroad that gives us the most money

Can imagine the mackem message board going ballistic for Shearers diving!

Absolutely immense, people these days rave about the likes of Terry or Ferdinand.....they couldn't lace his boots. the way he's playing today, he could do a job for us!!
-
while i agreee that we shouldn't spoil Sir bobbys day, a protest today would have an impact, its on TV and the whole country will see it, there'll be no one at the Leeds game.

Since when have our wingers been able to put crosses into the box, like? i know, they've got 2 weeks to learn!! if we want to score goals they better learn quick, no point having big strikers like Carroll, Shola and Ranger if your not going to get the ball in the box.
-
2 weeks to go, 2 games left, its time to nail down a starting 11 and style of play in the next 2 games ready for the big kick off. Surely if things stay as they are we won't be playing with 1 man up front like we have done in the previous friendly matches, especially as Nolan isn't mobile enough to play "off the striker". i wasn't there today or against Shamrock but from the 2 games i have seen we don't have much pattern or shape to our and don't think we have the players to fit into a 451. With no new striker looking like arriving we may as well go back to a good old fashioned 442 and get it out wide to our wingers and get crosses in. Stick Duff on the left and Lua on the right, in the middle i'd go for Guthrie & Barton. I wouldn't start with the likes of Bassong, Jonas, Colo, Oba etc who are showing no desire to stay or for the upcoming fight, just give them the last 30 mins. oh and why wasn't Harper playing today? He's been ring rusty due to lack of play for about 18 months and while he played the 90 mins on Tuesday, Krul and Forster played 45 mins each on the Wednesday against Whitley Bay and also played in the Darlo game.

not going to deny that today has been an embarrassing and shocking defeat but i can't believe Skysportsnews reaction, you'd think we'd just lost the cup final 6-1 not a PRE-SEASON kickabout!!!
-
i'm now beginning to think its not going to happen......

Don't we all support Newcastle United FC not Alan Shearer FC?

Keith Harris is on holiday for 2 weeks!!

Donaldson did ok, i just wouldn't have described him as a monster! lol I was stood next to Beardsley and Wharton behind the goal where we attacked 1st half.
-
yes pretty much agree with that pilko, maybe not the Donaldson bit, thought he was poor, no idea what Krul was doing with there goal, looked like he went to make a flashy "for the cameras" save and messed up, not like him as he's normally rock solid. Inman was his usual effective self, keeping things nice and simple, almost had a hat trick after bursting through and rounded the keeper only for the defender to get back and block the shot on the line. Thought young Sammy Ameobi played well but should've scored when clean through. crowd was just over 1000, which is very impressive

Anyone on here going to Dundee Utd, i know there's a few people puttting buses on but just checked the trains and its only £14.50 return, althought got a 90 minute wait in Edinburgh, then again can think of worse places to be stuck in! Tempted to go now.
-
yes but it won't feel like that in the next week-10 days when just when we think things can't get much worse they do......
-
anyone know how much it costs to get into Whitley Bay tonight?
-
didn't see any games but read a couple of reports, Nile played 90 mins, got booked, think he may have been too physical for the Swiss defence, he played the full game while Welbeck and Delfounso, who were upfront with him got subbed and heard Vukcic played well for Slovenia.
-
Where did you hear that? i would be very suprised, more likely to play against Whitley Bay on Wednesday night.
-
I'd be happy with him being our manager, was good when he was in charge of the reserves a couple of seasons ago and heard good reports from Huddersfield, he knows the game and can see him being a very decent manager.
-
I assume that's because they've pulled the names out of a hat for their article. well yes i had thought that as well.
-
bit late to make the papers when they were there over a week ago, the 5 players are a bit strange though, Barton who you'd think would know better by now and be on his best behaviour and 4(Smith, Duff, Butt and Beye) so called top professionals.
