  1. Wissa is definitely this year's Guehi.
  2. I presume you mean Brentfords training ground and he hasn't gone full Odemwingie.
  3. Oh absolutely. I suppose it makes things slightly more likely, as it removes one of three blocks to the sale. But I'm not sure the other two will be reached (another striker and a 150m bid).
  4. I was enjoying all the Liverpool fans losing their heads over not getting Isak but one bid for Wissa and they're certain they're signing him again.
  5. Ay, cause the first paper Liverpool will go to to leak information about their bid is the Sun.
  6. There's no way he goes to the world cup having voluntarily not played a single minute all season.
  7. Maybe I'm deluded, but I don't even see there being a possibility he won't play if he haven't sold him come the end of the window. How would it benefit him at all to do that?
  8. Because they can do it when they like. It's not a major issue for them is it. Might even be better for them from a PSR perspective to leave it later.
  9. Not sure I want us to be getting rid of the player most likely to punch Isak. Given Lascelles history it might actually sort Isak's head out.
  10. I don't think it's that ridiculous. We're apparently prepared to spend 40m on Wissa without selling Isak. That's a 30m difference, and in PSR terms that's like 6m extra (compared to signing Wissa) on this years accounts? Maybe we'd have looked at a lower cost midfielder option like that Amir Richardson we were very briefly linked to.
  11. One year but with an option for another. So effectively two years.
  12. But by all reports Liverpool contacted us to see Isak was available after we approached Ekitike and we said he wasn't. Also, Elanga is good mates with Isak and Isak clearly pushed for Elanga to sign. Even in Elanga's first interview he talked about looking forward to playing with Isak. It makes no sense if he was always planning to leave. Im not buying the story that he told us he was leaving.
  13. Yeah, but Joelinton was injured and Miley started to play in Joelinton's position (because Anderson was also injured). It was when Miley started to play on the left of midfield that his form dropped off massively.
  14. This is a super subtle ITK hint right? RIGHT!?
  15. He'd have gotten loads of time last season with Joelinton's injury to be fair. Would have got loads the season before they of he hasn't been injured himself. Bad luck really.
  16. Let's hope Villa will be saying the same thing about Ramsey come the end of the season.
  17. Impressive managing to look unfit while simultaneously running more than anyone else on the pitch.
  18. Doesn't Ornstein say in that very video that we've denied he asked to leave a year ago.
