  1. Injured He has a tendency to get injured or sent of when his team is being hammered.
  2. Genuinely think this Man City match could break a record.
  3. Is it just me or does his teams give up every year after reaching 40 points? They seem to always get there with a number of games left but never break the 50 point mark. Usually because that's the target set by the chairman, teams he manage are just happy to survive. They reach that goal and their season is over. A more ambitious and professional manager would try and push his team on, no? It was the same at Stoke and he spent plenty of money. Clearly they were bothered enough by it to let him go in favour of Hughes who has finished higher and with more points every season since (except this one admittedly).

118Bet are definitely Chinese and were the clubs official betting partner until a year ago. Could be them. edit: I was actually thinking of 138 bet.
  7. Winning the league and finishing 2nd in the Premier League is pretty irrelevant like, both teams qualify for the champions leagye and the only difference is the trophy handed to them. What absolute horseshit Winning the league in the PL is entirely different to winning it in the Championship/League One/League Two. Football is about winning things. 1st place in the league should always matter. It's attitude's like the one above that is damaging football where surviving in the Premier League is all that seems to matter and actually winning trophies is always treated second. It does matter to me whether or not Newcastle win the league. But 90% of the neutrals across the UK couldn't give a flying f***. Which is why this game hasn't been selected for TV coverage. 90% of neutrals don't give a f*** about the Championship full stop. You actually think there is any interest in who get's relegated to League 1? Plus you didn't say relegation is more important, you actually said the difference between first and second is irrelevant. I'd disagree on both point more strenuously on the bit I commented on. I said the difference between 1st and 2nd in the Championship is irrelevant, which I stand by. I didn't say that is the case across all of the leagues in the world, as it quite obviously isn't. As I said, would you be more inclined to watch Doncaster and Plymouth fight it out for the League Two title, when both are already guaranteed promotion? Or Hartlepool and Newport battle relegation to the conference? If you don't believe there is any interest in who out of those three teams gets relegated to League One, you are massively mistaken. Fair enough if I am. Maybe it's just my frustration at the attitude I've seen all season Twitter that the title doesn't matter. I really genuinely think the title not mattering more than relegation is crazy. Differing opinions I guess.
  8. I wouldn't be if the alternative was a title decider.

Forest spent years in League 1 not that long ago, it isn't that special an event. edit: or are Blackburn the big club you mean?

  13. Since when have the FA been concerned with the integrity of the game?
  14. Rio got 8 months for missing a drugs test, he didn't get a drugs ban. Same thing imo. Mental. That's the idea behind it isn't it? You treat the missed drugs test as harsh as a failed one, otherwise you'd just skip the drugs test.
  15. Means you have four from each of Chelsea and us, which I presume is the reason. As an aside, many Spurs fans feel that Vertonghen has actually been better this season. If splitting it I'd be tempted to have Alonso ahead of Rose and Vertonghen ahead of Luiz.
  16. Lascelles should never be there. Can't help but feel Richie should be on the right. I can't believe that is really the best four defenders in the premier league too.
  17. To be fair the options other than Hayden and Diame is just Colback. Not exactly damning on Shelvey.
  18. If you look at the teams they've been playing their form looks a bit less impressive. Four of their five wins have been against teams in the bottom 7 positions in the league.
  19. We could easily do better than Murphy. He has one good season in his career. Otherwise it's been poor. Hopefully he'll be good, but we had the opportunity to buy someone to compete for a starting short, rather than but someone who is not at that standard.
  20. I was annoyed because I did see the inevitable. I wanted us to sign a good striker for this situation.
  21. Lazaar honestly can't be that much of a liability defensively that Dummett is keeping him out of the XI. Guess it doesn't matter much, we're stuck with Dummett for at least the new few weeks. I presume you mean due to the African Nations? I believe Lazaar wasn't called up.
