  1. If this is a correct suspension then fair enough - I'll look forward to seeing a dozen suspensions handed out every week for similar - and far worse - incidents. Do you disagree that the two incidents at Huddersfield were worse? I really don't think the Huddersfield stamp was a stamp at all.
  2. Surely if you're built on fitness you would last longer into the season?
  3. I don't get the hate towards the Chronicle, hes very likely telling the truth. Aye coz posting the news of an impending signing for fans to discuss on social media will throw a spanner in a loan deal. Sound logic. It can do. I remember a story of a fake Liverpool ITK posting a made up transfer story and he got contacted by some senior liverpool exec because it caused problems with the deal (which turned out to be real) and cost them a few extra mill to get the deal done or something. edit: link to the story https://www.theguardian.com/football/2012/oct/30/liverpool-apology-spoof-journalist
  4. Not denying that to some extent, but it's very different from this Joselu lad. edit: my memory was more people thought it was a lot of money for him.
  5. Bellamy was 22 years old and played almost every game for Coventry in the Prem the previous season. How was he Coventry's scraps?
  6. If he turns out to be a first-team player for Everton then how? Then good on him and Everton. He'd never do that here. I have some faith we'd be able to develop him. Based purely that I think Rafa will be making improvements there.
  7. Why are we selling someone so highly valued? I think he hasn't actually signed a pro-contract yet so I'm suprised we're getting that much. I guess it would go to a FA tribunal if we didn't agree something ourselves with Everton though.
  8. Zabaleta aged 30-32 vs Walker age 25-27 doesn't feel the most valid comparison (on the wane vs at absolute physical peak). I think they're both great players; but would take a 27 year old Zabaleta every time. What a man. Sadly 27 year old Zabaleta isn't available though.
  9. Murphy prefers to play RM so it'll be interesting to see what happens with him and Ritchie. Can see Ritchie and De Jong divvying up the no.10 role between themselves depending on fitness to be honest. I don't know how effective Ritchie is going to be on the wing in the prem. Did reasonably well on the Wing for Bournemouth in the Prem. Obviously not as good as in the Championship but from what I remember was still one of Bournemouths better players than season.
  10. A quick Google says East End wore that colour for 1 year. Seems a strange idea.
  11. Yeah, I wasn't keen on it being the away kit but as the third kit it's nice. I'm still hoping for a burgundy/blue hooped away kit.
  12. Officially the 3rd kit http://www.nufcdirect.com/replica-kits/third-kit
  13. Previously it's been a play on the home kit along with gold emblems though right? Like the half and half and that all white with a black v. Certainly goes along with the previous examples. Still FootyHeadlines seem quite confident it actually is the away kit and it'll be official announced soon.
  14. I wonder if it is meant to be one of those special members kits they've done a few times. Like that half black/half white kit they did.
  15. They could have gotten a box for Anita to stand on.
  16. We shall see. He's a better full back but I'd guess he wont sign and if he did will be injured all the time. Is it not the case that he's largely been over the injury issues for a few seasons now but just can't get a head of Monreal?
  17. Why? He's a s*** manager. What makes you say that? I think it's too soon to say he is a very good manager, as his success has all been at one club, but his success at Ajax, domestically at least, was quite notable. Obviously Inter was a flop but from everything I've heard there were a number of circumstances around that which made it a tough job. I think it's still to be seen exactly how good he is.
  18. Apparently the original version of the Newcastle article let slip that the other German opponent is Mainz. If it did say that though it doesn't now.
  19. Saying Tottenham were bottlers for losing to West Ham apparently. Generally speaking I have no clue how she got a job on a Sky Sports football show (well I do, but you know what I mean), but obviously doesn't deserve the sort of horrible shit thrown her way for this.
  20. I'd have thought Gallowgate Flags actually teaming up with Gallowgate Shots to create a flag would be best for all. It helps take away the backlash from this event, and helps to repair the unfairly tarnished reputation of both Flags and Shots.
  21. So there's nothing between Barcelona and s*** football? It was extremely poor. I've heard the players have a problem with him too. Also, as for the 8th finish, points wise he was closer to relegation than 7th. Everyone below 7th was shit. Not saying I really have an opinion either way, but I do understand it.
