  1. Hearing Gary Shaw passed. Awful news, brilliant player. RIP
  2. Not to pile on but that was yet another utterly listless and increasingly typical away performance. Too easy to play against, not enough penetration, poor defensively. Not like Wolves have been much cop either. Crap, sort it man.
  3. That QPR equalizer today was a thing of beauty

    Marc Guehi

Totally agree, there's a player in there that the beginning of this season is not showcasing, hard to blame him for being off after the window. He's not and never has been a 70m player, but I think we'll be back for him at a more reasonable fee, we usually go back for players when we don't initially get them.
  5. Connor Coady with a ridiculous bit of defending
  6. Just waiting for the inevitable from Anfield.
  7. It's like there had to be a defender out of frame playing him on because he was clearly 2 yards in front of the defender they showed
  8. Missing Olise, Eze doesn't look the same and Wharton not influencing games like he was, so in the attacking phase they're not looking great. They've been in this game plenty though and have poor defending to blame for being behind.
  9. Mateta scores, initially given offside
  10. Lacroix not looking the part BTW, giving away FKs and that goal was partly his fault
  11. More useless Palace defending and Leicester go 2 up
  12. Also, we have a track record of remaining interested in players we don't initially sign. I doubt a few patchy performances at the start of a new season when he probably expected to be lining up in a different shirt will put us off. We might even get him for a reasonable fee, he's certainly not looking like a 60m defender.
  13. Early goal IIRC, first 20 minutes, back post header from a FK. Then we hung on as Bull and Mutch threatened to do what they did at St James'. Think Dillon missed a 1-1, I swear that daft twat could have had 15 goals that season if he could have finished his dinner.
  14. I was at that 1990 game posted in the first post when Scott scored as a callow 18 year old, seems like a different lifetime
  15. Guehi with a calamitous mis-kick, should have been 2-0 to Leicester
  16. Interested to see if Wharton steps it up this year. Had barely heard of him a year ago and apparently he became the reincarnation of Bryan Robson so curious to see how he does. Palace look shit so far without Olise though
  17. Haaland is physically big but he plays even bigger, like he's twice the size of everyone he's up against, amazing to watch
  18. Vardy dragging Guehi all over the place. What a striker he's been for them, still scoring at 37
