Good player, getting on a bit and do we need him, as we seem to have a fair few Centre midfielders. Also having watched a lot of la liga and being a valencia fan I would say he is good, but whether he would be better than butt/barton/etc having never played in the Prem league is questionable. However if Angulo is leaving he may be worth a shot.

Oba scored the pen. He can be a bit eratic at times but he does seem to have a cool head for pens. Not as cool as nobby, but you have to atleast acknowledge he had the bottle to step up and take it.

Thought barton did nothing going forward and would still like to see Emre in there. Zoggy did well at LB but is still much better as LM/LW. Smith and Milner were class and we were really unlucky with one of the corners near then end when Roz headed it back and the arse just scrambled it clear. Good performance, still wish the media had a clue and realised that most fans if not all fans want BSA to stay.

Prefer the European blue one from last year, that is a really nice strip. Should of jsut kept that but suppose its all about the monies.

From what I saw of him on sky sports last year, was a solid left back, good work rate etc. Going forward wasn't bombing forward all the time but certainly put himself about. Looks a strong lad though so should be able to cope with more physical players in the prem. Look forward to seeing him play in the prem though.

Something that does actually annoy me about Milner, he does quite often try and get back onto his right foot but he has shown on numerous occasions he doesn't need to. He has put in some lovely balls with his left, I wish he had a little more confidence in it. Yea I agree with that, ie palermo. Far as im concerned easily good enough for NUFC, one of our best players.

Milner is class, when he is on the left, he obviously wants to cross with his right as it is his stronger foot. Not mega fast but still goes past players and put good balls in. Can use both feet dont see what everyone problem is.

Would rather jimmy and the zog played, though this causes problems as we have loads of midfielders. Personally would rather have Jimmy on the right than barton.

All I have to say is, we battered them in the first half, should of been at least 2-0 at half time, if kilbane hadn't been sent off hesky would of and should of. Dont see what Hutchings is moaning about they were battered for pretty much the whole game. Over the moon.
