Prefer the European blue one from last year, that is a really nice strip. Should of jsut kept that but suppose its all about the monies.

From what I saw of him on sky sports last year, was a solid left back, good work rate etc. Going forward wasn't bombing forward all the time but certainly put himself about. Looks a strong lad though so should be able to cope with more physical players in the prem. Look forward to seeing him play in the prem though.

Something that does actually annoy me about Milner, he does quite often try and get back onto his right foot but he has shown on numerous occasions he doesn't need to. He has put in some lovely balls with his left, I wish he had a little more confidence in it. Yea I agree with that, ie palermo. Far as im concerned easily good enough for NUFC, one of our best players.

Milner is class, when he is on the left, he obviously wants to cross with his right as it is his stronger foot. Not mega fast but still goes past players and put good balls in. Can use both feet dont see what everyone problem is.

Would rather jimmy and the zog played, though this causes problems as we have loads of midfielders. Personally would rather have Jimmy on the right than barton.

Can some one point out where NUFC.com agree with the chants, they have commented on the OTT media coverage which make sit look like the 3,000 away fans where signing songs about mido from the kick off.

Dont think anyone on here thinks the chants are right or they should been said, what seems to be pissing everyone off it the fact that the media coverage is so two faced on this, and the guardian in particular want to portray all toon fans as arab hating racists.

Neither are right, the chants at mido were wrong, but its like toon fans are racist hate all arabs, and no one else has ever done anything wrong or ever been racist in some of the news paper reports.

An FA spokesman said last night: "We are very much in favour of banning orders being imposed on anyone identified as engaging in racist behaviour in football. The FA will obviously work with the police on all football disorder related matters." Their coverage of the Mido stuff is spot on, couldn't agree more with it.

What ever happened to the Monkey chants that were aimed at Oba at Everton last year ? Or is Islamaphobia the new big craze that everton is getting on with ? Talking to a mate who is a spurs fan and he says Mido used to get chants like that every week from away fans at the lane, plus if boro actually had any fans in the ground they would of made some noise and cancelled out the mido chants.

it's easy,the ref just needs to go into each dressing room before the game and say to each team "i will listen to you through your captain only,any swearing will get you booked,shout at me,you'll get booked,when i mark out 10yds if you dont retreat to where i say you'll get booked,good luck and i hope we all have a good game" You should work for the FA !

I would like to see players who go and surround the ref or mouth off to the ref yellow carded. Would stop them all doing it.

He is fast as hell so wont be left behind by any strikers wingers etc, played nearly the whole season when barca won the CL and played and scored ni the final. Not exactly bad. More than happy to have him at Newcastle.
