  1. No offence, but that post just typifies someone who doesn't go into the dressing rooms. There was a spat with Dyer. Who was just a cunt anyway. How do you know he'd lost the dressing room?
  2. No offence, but that post just typifies someone who doesn't watch/go to the matches. You're trying to get me back. I saw plenty of games under Bobby's reign. The previous season we weren't particularly great, but we hadn't improved the squad. The summer of 04/05 we brought in five players. I'd have loved to have seen those five play under Bobby tbh, because they were all good signings. Even Carr was a decent enough signing at £2m. But there was Milner and N'Zogbia who he brought in, aswell as your Ambroses and Bellamys, Jenas, Dyer. He'd brought the average age of the squad back down, aswell as holding onto the likes of Given and Shearer, and Robert aswell, more experienced heads. I believe that it was a squad that was going to develop, i reckon it would have turned into something really good.
  3. There was no stopping Keegan, tbh. He left because he couldn't face getting sacked, and he knew that he wasn't going to take Newcastle any further than he was. But the Sir Bobby sacking, you're dead right. Absolute madness in my opinion, and i'll never have any other view but that. It was just sheer stupidity. We were so close to a trophy as far as i am concerned - he was building what was going to be a superb team.
  4. Bold statement, and i can imagine many will disagree, but i believe we would have eventually won the league under Bobby. He was building a fantastic team. If not the league, then definitely a trophy.
  5. I didn't realise it was that tight, actually. Still, i think it'll be difficult for him.
  6. He could have done, but not now i don't reckon. He hasn't got enough time left. If he gets another World Cup in, he'll have done well.

Have to love Italian football supporters.
  9. You mean the one that's right infront of you when you log onto the site?
  10. Yes he did. meh? You were wrong, no need to dwell on it. wrong about what? you are making no sense Ronaldo said he scored against Coventry, you said "no he didn't" but edited your post to "think he only scored against Cov in the league and Blackburn in the cup" after looking it up. I said no he didn't to him scoring against Metz then edited it to: think he only scored against Cov in the league and Blackburn in the cup Aye, like 20 posts after everybody else as usual. Wouldn't take Saha now. Great player when he's playing, but it'd be a foregone conclusion as to how his career here would pan out.

    Lee Bowyer

Yes I was soo proud that day, thank you Lee Bowyer. And got both himself and Dyer banned from the FA Cup semi-final. Well done indeed. Have a sneaky feeling Jon was being sarcastic.
  12. Milner will definitely stay, he's got no reason to leave now and we won't want to let him go. N'Zogbia might do, but even if he did, he'd be a centre-midfielder; so it doesn't matter - he'll be absolutely shit. I'm apathetic about Zoggy, which in itself is depressing. Makes me so angry deep down - Roeder's pretty much crucified any chance of him having the brilliant career here, that he could have had.

    Anelka v Martins

Anelka - great player, and better than Martins at the moment. BUT / He wouldn't have fitted in with our playing style / He wouldn't have fitted in at the club in general, we're far too mediocre for him / He would have got fed up for the above reasons and more - he was 'bored' at Fenerbahce for crying out loud / He's an utter cunt / He's never been prolific particularly prolific, his career goalscoring record is pretty shite for a 'world class' striker / He's already hit his peak, Martins is yet to achieve it Who would i rather have? Beyond argument.

I'm Andy Carroll and so is my wife.

    Andrew Carroll

What's to say Carroll himself isn't on here? I bet a fair few players read these boards from time to time.
  16. Depends if she'd good enough in all honesty. If i don't like her, it won't be because of her gender. How petty would that be? It's hardly as if she's out there on the pitch...
  17. Out of favour... Carr's a better left-back apparantely.
  18. Can't tell whether people are on the wind-up or not tbh. If they're serious, they all want shot.
  19. Like when he scored against Lillestrom and Palermo?
  20. You do realise we're currently paying Luque £40k a week for doing absolutely nothing, don't you? And that, as it stands, we will continue to do so next season? Carroll will get plenty of opportunities in the future (although i would actually them both), Luque must play now with the faint hope he'll actually put in some half decent performances and convince a team to pay some of his wages next season. Do you think some club is going to magically appear offering a man who has not played 90 minutes back-to-back for 2 years £40k a week? Not to mention Luque is by far the superior player. My team: Given Solano Onyewu Edgar N'Zogbia Milner Butt Emre Luque Carroll Martins Luque's been sat around doing absolutely nothing for the past two years. Two or three average-to-shite (typically Luque performances) isn't going to change that. Plus - the 'far superior' player? He's been absolute DOGSHITE for us.

    Andrew Carroll

Looks like a proper wanker tbh.
  22. 'Cause Carroll is better than Albert Luque? And it can't be just because Carroll scored 3 tonight. If that's the case, Luque should have played every minute since he scored 2 belters against the bin dippers. Might as well see what Luque does in these remaining matches. Could be his last few for the club. What's the bloody point then!? If he's off in the summer, what's the point in playing him - and watching him have even less desire to play for us than he has done in the past, knowing that he's going to leave? Even if he does play well - why bother if he's going to leave? We've known for two years now what Luque is all about. He's not good enough, he's not for Newcastle and he never was. Andy Carroll on the other hand, is desperate to play for us, and might just have a future with us!
