  1. Roeder tried too hard not to be Souness, but with Allardyce you feel that we've got a proper manager who knows what he wants.
  2. Aye because they are part of the team Relax.Allardyce is not like Roeder who never had the courage to drop his pals Carr and Duff. Allardyce soon enough will see what kind of crap the likes of Carr,Babayaro,Bramble,Ramage are and probably will get rid of them. Im curious what he will do with Bramble though His contract is until the summer. Study him in training and then make his decission.
  3. Didn't we first say that about Roeder as well?
  4. Key word here is: Patience. Don't call for his head for a few years. We need to be patience with this one. I'll be eating these words when we're 15th in February...
  5. BBC Radio Newcastle, works excellent in Sweden Cheers, just missed it mackems.gif
  6. Im very happy with this appointment. It sounds to me that freddy Har promised money for the summer as well Lets just hope he gets she of shambles.
  7. *Walks straight into managers office* AO: "Hiya Sam, who you gonna sign this summer then, any names? SA: "Alan?" AO: "Yes Sam" SA: "Get the fuck out of my office before I call security" *Next Day* Working Hard by Alan Oliver, the Evening Chronicle Sam Allardyce is working non-stop to get new faces into Newcastle over the coming weeks, but the Toon manager is keeping his cards close to his chest and refuses to reveal any targets to the media. However, my inside knowledge at the club suggests that Steve Sidwell and Brett Emerton may well be on their way to the club despite Sidwell's recent transfer to Chelsea. Reports linking the club with Silvan Distin are wide of the mark. Surely if Sam told Anal to fuck off, Anal would write something like "Meanwhile, a lot of blame for N'Zogbias discontent with being on put on the bench for the Watford game should be put on Sam Allardyce." Wish is was funny...
  8. It's not black. Changed my mind, it's shite
  9. Aye, the new City shirt is nice. The black spurs one was also quite nice.
  10. omg !!!! Do you really want me to count since 1964 Check the present tense in the title. most home games between 1964-1969. Started to go to away games + home games in 1970. Got season ticket in 1973. Gave it up in 1976 as I started working away and was sometimes out of the country, until 1988, but during those years saw about 10 home games and 10 away games at a guess. Bought season ticket back in 1989 when my life stabalised again, and have kept it ever since. Don't miss too many home games through work or whatever, I've missed the odd cup game this season through living outside of Newcastle these days like you do , nor go to as many away games as I did before I got married, had family etc etc, but I'm renewing next season. Even when we had a s*** board at the end of the 80's I renewed, and travelled up home from all over the country .... Who asked what you did in 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s? Like Dave said, check the present tense in the title! I like giving complete answers, just so simple people understand. The answer is there. There does appear to be a few people a bit shy about this though The complete answer for you would've been: "I go to every home game, except a few cup games, and almost no away games." Fact.

  12. FS to fire Pattison for not doing his job properly
  13. There was no reason not to play him today, tbh. Though he can still fuck off, I've had it with playes storming out of the stadium if they aren't playing (Luque).
  14. As you live in England, you have excuse to not go to ANY game... I've only just turned 16. I've only recently started earning cash, and it's limited enough as it is. I live two hours away. I can't drive. I have no accommodation available. I have parents that work. I get to see all the games anyway, if i want. There's seven or eight, want any more - smartarse? Aye, please, I think I could do with a few more actually.

  16. About one per season, if that. Will try and increase on that next season though.

    Viduka

I said we should sign him in the summer. Then you where one of the very few. Over the last 12 months Allardyce and Viduka have vastly grown in popularity despite always being good at what they do. 12 months is hardly knee-jerk though, tbf. For the record, I'm not a big fan of Viduka. Nor of Sam, but I do think Sam is the best man available for the job here, which is I will support him.

    13th it is then...

    Bring on next season
  19. Anyone know for how long Owen will be out?
  20. Viduka scores for Boro
