Difference is that them two probably couldn't care less about a friendly, while this is a massive game for Carroll. Carroll will do anything to play in this, and fair play to him, so he should. If more players had that attitude towards playing for England, then maybe we wouldn't look so fucking dire half of the time.

Aye, sod Nolan and Tiote
-
Aye, just looking on some French websites about the game, and a lot of "Carroll starts for England", etc. Little mention of Henderson. Same in Sweden. Since Sunday, there's been three articles on Carroll, think Henderson might have been mentioned in one.
-
Walcott on the right, Milner on the left. Don't think Carroll was expecting to get fewer crosses to work with playing for England than he does playing for us
-
Guthries deliveries from corners has always been better than Bartons. Barton is better at delivering crosses from free kicks, and neither of them are good enough at scoring directly from a free kick.
-
We really should have had two players in this friendly tomorrow
-
Very happy for him, but hope to fuck he doesn't make the injury any worse by playing.
-
As long as he's our world class cunt, he can be as big of a cunt he wants in my book.

Song handball when he 'blocked' a shot inside the box. I was sitting directly behind it at the Gwladys Street. From the many replays I've seen, it looks like it hit his shoulder.
-
Can't say I remember the penalty incident you're talking about 1878? Squillaci should have been sent off for his tackle on Saha though.
-
I'm strangely confident about this like. Weird feeling

Joey you fucking idiot

Modric confirms what I've been saying; had he not got out of the way in the last second he possibly would have broken his legs. Disgusting tackle from a disgusting player.

He clearly hit the ball before the player, but he goes in with both feet and studs up. Had Modric not been airborne when Cattermole hits him, I reckon he could well have had a broken leg. Definite red.

Worst thing for me was that when he was appointed he said he wouldn't play the same boring Bolton football here because he had more resources and whatever. Then what does he do? He does not only play the most boring, abysmal football possible, but he's not even getting results while doing it. Then of course how he's constantly bigging himself up, fucks me right off.

Doesn't even bare thinking about.

He's perfect for the press/media in this country. Doing the business on the pitch, while making bad headlines off it. During a perioid in which the national team are crying out for both youth and efficiency (goals) in the forward area. Aye, England needs him more than he needs England IMO. He'll certainly bring something different to the team, Crouch can only dream of being as threatening in the air as Carroll is.
-
He's got a Paul Cuntington hairstyle, that's what does it for me. His "hand of god"-goal against us is what does it for me. Little cunt.
-
Aye. All of the part-timers that went to the Mackems game have went back to their armchairs. GM Towelie
-
Cattermole really should have been sent off for that tackle, I don't give a fuck if he got the ball or not. Tackles like that does not belong in football, had Modric not already been airborne, he probably would have broken a leg. Horrible, dirty bastard.

Have we really slated him for missing chances? Most stick he's been getting is surely that he's too slow, not involved in the game enough and lacks stamina? He's always been considered a good finisher as far as I'm aware.
