Er... he did bring Barton on. Aye, but not until 2-0 with about a minute to go. I was worried he'd be brought on around the 75 minute mark, which would have been a big mistake IMO. I like Barton btw, it was just not the right thing to do to change anything at that point in the game, and well done Chris for not making any changes.

He's so fucking effective. He doesn't have the ball half as much as Jonas, but his vision is cracking and he knows how to deliver a ball. When he stole the ball out on the wing by outmuscling their player and his cross that landed on Nolan was fantastic, as was his cross in the first half for Carrolls volley chance - he could easily have ended up with another two assists tonight. Superb signing, hope he can keep this class up in the premiership.

Not really, we've been terrible this year so far. Eguren and Pavey are both suspended for us, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing (don't rate Pavey at all and Eguren hasn't settled yet). If you want a bet on our game, I'd put it on less than 2.5 goals.

For anyone wanting to try their luck tonight, you might want to look at Mjällby away to Örebro. Mjällby have looked really confident and played some good stuff. 4.50, or 3.25 DNB, could be well worth a punt. The other Swedish games I'd stay clear of tonight.
