Agree. I also hate straight reds like the one Abidal got. Fair enough if it's outside the penalty-area, but getting a penalty against you and a sending off for a tackle that was barely a yellow anywhere else on the pitch is just ruining the game IMO.

No Pirlo and no Gattuso in the quarter-finals should Italy go through.

We're jizzing over Benzema here, get with the times!

Just signed a new contract with Lyon. Bit stupid on his part, that. Could imagine a lot of better clubs are after him, one of those players that just glides past players like they're not even there. Shame Domenech is defensive as anything. Aye, I agree with you. He was amazing in the CL-games I saw him in, and been decent enough in the Euros, even though he hasn't scored yet. He's one of those players I almost would like to see come to England just so I could see more of him. He'd be devastating at Arsenal imo. Not a bad effort on the volley there. At Arsenal, he could really be the new Henry.

Fucking hate it when a team is crying for the other team to play the ball out when they've got a player down "injured". Needs to be a new rule that says that if you need to receive treatment, you have to step out of the pitch for five minutes or something, I'm sick of players being injured then coming back on five seconds later.

Penalty to Italy and Abidal off!
-
Decent game so far, Italy are looking dangerous on the counter-attack
-
Massive shame for Ribery!

I reckon you're spot on

Hope France goes through with Holland.

Aye, he's one of the worlds best players, and will never come to us

It's Arda Turan He's a Turkish International playing for Galatasaray, you'd think you were talking about some world superstar ffs do not be deluded. even he is too ambitious a transfer for us. u think we are some top 6-7 club...anyway Gala is a much bigger club than us. Even players like Pander and Afellay will think twice joining us. we should go for players like Larsson and Kapo, better-than-what-we-have players that come cheap and that would be a step-up for them if they join us. i don't think anyone is falling for your wind up anymore only fools will fall for it cos it is not a wind-up. if we can escape relegation next season with this current squad, i will jump for joy like i did when we escape relegation last season. i am being realistic about our team in general as my nickname says in anger/jest; s*** team. but still love the club whether u believe it or not cos i dun care. The team you love, great! Well then lets reminisce friend, about the time Liam O'Brien rifled the ball into the mackem's net, or the time when Andy O'Brien repeated the feat. Lets talk about the fact that Sunderland fans are a bunch of deluded toss-wanks, supporting a team that could not even come close to signing the calibre of player we have. Lets laugh at them as we take their money (sic) to build a magnificent metro system, and use their taxes (sic) to fund council based projects making Newcastle one of the premier UK cities while Sunderland, down the road, is a rotting, stinking tramp of a place. Lets thnk of the 4-1. How great was that when Shearer smacked that penalty past them? Lets think about qualifying for the champions league, watching them become the worst team in history, and Howard Wilkinson. Should all bring a smile to your face. Finally, lets think about Keano, chortle together as we watch him spunk another 40 million on s**** players as their fans still proclaim he is the messiah for narrowly escaping relegation on the back of that spend. Should be great fun for a fellow NUFC fan. Brings a smile to my face anyway. another deluded joker Just what part of that is delusion? Cause if he's deluded thinking that we won 4-1 over Sunderland for example, then I think I need to get my own head checked too.

http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?action=profile;u=5771;sa=showPosts;start=275 The fuck you were laughed at. You said sweet fuck all about the Smith signing at the time and weren't even registered when Duff signed. Any other "facts" you'd like to dream up so you can play the "I told you so" game? Ouch! I bet you're just deluded though, thomas

I'd still snap their hands off if we were offered him, it's not the first time a player has looked complete shit in a tournament. What matters is what he does week-in week-out at club level.

Aut? BBC references. I'm the Chief Commisioning Editor of BBC (http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=53567.0), and I still don't get it

Where are the mods? The title needs an update Can Germany be out if they draw?
-
Aye, got him, Klose and Toni. All looking good

Had you heard of either of them before they were linked with us? No, i'll admit that but it's not relevant. Gomis is a French international while Turan has really caught the ey in the Euros. Again I'll ask, why would they look at us and think it a good career move? Especially now the big pay day carrot has been removed. Gomis wasn't a French international when we first showed our interest, and he's done nothing of worth in his competitive appearances. Playing in the best league in the world and increased paychecks is sure to be a draw. Turan will have caught a few eyes in this tournament and will be very difficult for us to land, but it's a big fee being branded for him that perhaps might scare off a few of our competitors.
