  1. The mail have updated their story and say he will be sacked today.
  2. The old KK would have walked. An ITK on Skunkers reckons he has.
  3. He is nowhere near world class, he has pace, his crossing is hit and miss, and sometimes he seems unable to control a football, but he works hard, tracks back, puts in a few tackles & doesn't complain and seems like a good lad who would be a good fit in the dressing room. I think his best displays for Chelsea came when he played a more central role towards the end of last season, which could be an option for us. I'm by no means a big fan of him, but if he can reproduce the form he displayed under Keegan at City then that would only be a positive thing. Once he has a manager that believes in him, and his confidence is back up, could be good again.
  4. Would love to sign him He is quality, could be much more than just a defensive midfielder, good going forward too.
  5. Don't care who gets it, as long as it's not that prick! Which, no doubt it will be.
  6. His start was a bit shaky, but that was to be expected. Liked the fact that he wouldn't let his man go beyond him, even if that meant bringing him down, better to defend the free kick than let the striker through on goal. And, also thought he looked to be the leader we badly need at the back, despite the probable language barrier, he was telling the other three where to go/position themselves, and this is exactly what Taylor needs to take him to the next level.
  7. Rio Ferdinand, hate the way he is always the first person to join the goal celebration, always fist pumping to the fans, kissing the badge, and if it gets a bit heated how he always races to wherever it it, and how over rated he is, yes he is talented, but he isn't the second coming of Bobby Moore! C**T!
  8. Against Manchester, man your weaving through everyone! LOL
  9. I remember a while back, when Claudio Ranieri began his second stint in charge of Valencia, he was interviewed, and was asked about the possibility pf Aimar joining Liverpool, for then a huge fee, and he said that with Aimar weighing under 60 kilos, he would stand no chance of competing in the Premiership, so as good as he was/is/could be, perhaps he is far better of in Portugal away from the rough and tumble of the Premiership.
  10. Tell you you who I would love at the club, and who might want to leave his. Your namesake. I would drive him here from Spain if he was to join us! Sadly, he has really struggled with injury for two seasons, and doubts remain as to whether we see him at anywhere near his best or the form he was showing prior to those injuries. Perhaps a new club might be just what he needs, although he remains a very popular figure amongst the fans.
  11. This could be similar to David Bentley, in that a young English player with plenty to prove can't get a look in at a top 4 side, takes the decision to step down a little bit and establish himself. Given the potential fee, we have a lot to gain, and not much to lose.
  12. Nice time machine. Where did you get it from? HAHA.My bad, you want one, they are good?
  13. Villarreal have agreed a deal to sign American starlet Jozy Altidore. We were linked with him a while back, looks a decent prospect.
  14. Sunn Sunny looked very promising in the pre-season games he played. Has not featured too much, the odd appearance here and there, I think Valencia are easing him in, big things are expected of him in the coming seasons. Would probably take a sizable bid to get him, given his potential and age.

    Henk ten Cate

He (reportedly!) told the players he was known as 'Mad Dog', which had the players laughing at him immediately, and he stormed out when they all started barking and growling at him, which if you picture the scene was probably pretty funny.
  16. I hope so, really don't rate him.
  17. This. Hence my username. Sadly, I don't think many of the top players will still be there when thee come to town. Canizares has already gone, with Villa, Silva, Joaquin, Albelda, Vicente, Miquel, Marchena and others likely to follow.
  18. Germany, have the big tournament mentality, and key players, like Ballack are bang in form. Would love Spain to win it, but despite having a strong squad, I think they are a little unbalanced in certain areas, and weak defensively.

    Comolli Sucks

Spot On. It's refreshing that a player moves for his career ambition and the chance of European football and a better coach, rather than moving to the club that offered him the better salary. Even if it is annoying that it's Spurs he is moving too.
  20. Get rid, no pace, can't beat a man, can't cross a ball, his wages are a drain on the club and he's an oxygen thief, other than that, I have no problem with him.
