  1. Anita is going to be a good addition. Great passer, comes deep as well.
  2. Worst post I've ever read. no it isn't and it does make a bit of sense. Our most important player, the back bone of the defence that kept 15 clean sheets, our captain and one of last seasons two best central defenders in the best league in the world, playing the best football of his career and seemingly loves playing for the club. 30 is not old for a CB. Sell him to another Premiership team and replace him with a young player that has never set foot in the Premiership? And it makes sense?
  3. Same here. Can't get the paper in Sweden either. I remember when he wrote "the letter that Mike Ashley should have written" after the relegation or promotion or whatever it was. Really refreshing a journalist who concetrates on offering a voice of reason and common sense with his analyses and use of language instead of controversy and sensational headlines. Definately my favourite journalist.
  4. Great piece on our return to Europe. Online for 40 more minutes ever thanks to Tooj. http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/the-game/?blogId=Blog0fd8cd80-ce7f-4236-9e9b-6bae16c25d58Post1cf26b8f-ba02-43c8-9d84-6ad7b393bd21&shareToken=afc0a0146d73c86f9928b61ab0c065c9
  5. One of the weirdest streaming experiences I've had was that Chemnitzer TV-station.
  6. There's more chance of us getting Debuchy. They're a very decent side, Copenhagen. 1-0 at home is a brilliant result for them.
  7. We are clearly practising brinkmanship on the rest of our deals, that's why Pardew can't say whether one, two or none of them will come off. Still waiting for specific situations to arise, like Liverpool being forced into sell Carroll and Lille missing the Champions League etc. It's the nature of our transfer policy and it has got us good deals in the last few years. We were never going to come into this summer and splash the cash on our primary targets, we are working with much more patience than that. Not suprised, but a bit tired of it. Frustration sets in slowly when you realise that we have the foundations of a very, very good squad that could seriously challenge the top four with just a few more additions. On the other hand, I'd much rather have this approach than that of QPR.
  8. FYP. A difficult run of games coming up Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal at home, games at Sunderland and Norwich will prove very tricky think i may agree with the above. By the sounds of things was ripped a new arsehole by his bosses over his Carroll comments so will be under an awful lot of pressure if very few points on board by end of September lots of questions over his system and I dont think he has a plan B. Still dont think he will play Carroll much would be interesting to see what would happen if the powers that be at Liverpool start pushing for Carroll to get more game time. What a mess that club is Much because of Kenny.
  9. Rafael van der Vaart quite heavily linked with move back to Hamburg today.
  10. Ben Lyttleton ‏@benlyt Good news for #NUFC? L'Equipe says Lille might sell #Debuchy if they don't make Chmps Lge group stage (lost 1st leg qual 1-0 to Copnhgn)
  11. I'd rather have the next Shola tbh.
  12. Lunacy. Meanwhile, fans are paying record high prices to go to games, games are not televised 3pm outside of the UK. Fans brought the Premier League it's reputation because the demand to watch football was there. Now the money that derives from the broadcasting deals prevents fans, not only in Britain, but all over the world from watching the games. Absolute bollocks. What's this? Nothing's changed in Finland. In Sweden they are only allowed to broadcast one game at 3pm despite people paying for multiple channels in order to make sure they can see their team. The Premier League has a huge following over here, so the company that own the rights to it has had to provide all their customers with last-minute access to their own streaming site, which is naturally overloaded with people and buffering all the time.
  13. Mark Douglas and George Caulkin are also covering. David Crossan is a French based NUFC supporting journalist who usually has good information as well.
