Very impressed with Swansea today and this season in general. Same goes for Norwich. Two teams that play football and do it with such enthusiasm. Brillaint managers Rodgers and Lambert by the look of it.

Agree. First really poor run in a year and people want rid of him. He'll be able to re-organise and get us back to playing football soon enough, that I'm sure of. Needs to learn from mistakes now. I think Santon ahead of RT is a given now tbh.

With a bit of distance to last night's game, it's absolutley mental that Vuckic was given a start ahead of him.

Don't know if it's actually affecting us, but I recall Joey Barton to be very important at this stage of the season last year. He would have been able to provide the "no fear" feeling yesterday rather than the cowardly manner of our midfield.

We need to go back to playing football with confidence on the ground. That's how we played in the beginning of the season. The hoofing is horrible, the confidence in the short passing game is nowhere to be seen. Worrying, but hopefully we can get back to playing some decent stuff after the Man Utd game.

I think Gerrard won them the game. We were - somehow - starting to boss it when he came on. Even though we struggled to create chances, Ben Arfa for Vuckic and no Gerrard; we would have had them. Anyway, no real surprise that our full backs are shit is it? The two of them and Obertan today were fucking woeful. We need replacements. Also, Jonas needs a rest. I'd seriously start someone else there against Man United, he does not provide cover nor does he threaten the box or anything right now. Impressed with Cheik, Colo and Williamson today.

Breaking News: Liverpool players to wear one-finger gloves tonight against Newcastle in support of Luis Suarez.

Whilst I'm all for signing up and coming talent, we really need a defender who's ready to play in the PL. I'd be happy with a promising centre back who could provide cover in the short term. With Williamson back it's not as if a young lad would be forced into playing immediately. I'd rather we signed someone like this than someone who'd expect to play straight away. When Taylor is back we'd be a more healthy squad if we have someone promising and Williamson as back up rather than four defenders who'd all expect to play.

Will surely be more than £5m. Excellent talent. Might be what they need with his passing.

Still can't get my head round how the self-delusioned behaviour of Liverpool fans has spread to Sweden. I'm in a discussion panel on a big site. I strongly questioned their behaviour and called for them to just condemn it and not back him. He has no reason to speak about Evra's skin colour, nor is the meaning of the word "negrito" important. The reaction is fantastic. They're calling me a pig and some of them are saying I should be "ashamed" for saying such things. Lovely as it just confirms what we already knew - only now on an international level. No self respect what so ever.
