Chelsea 2 - 2 Newcastle United - 15/05/11 - post match reaction from page 30

The Chelsea wankfest on Swedish television is beyond me. They pretty much haven't mentioned Newcastle. Pre-game they said Lövenkrands have been our most in-form player since Carrolls departure....... -

Playing very clever here. Impressive especially looking at what players we have at our disposal. -
I wouldn't go near the West Ham squad. Lots of players that seem to be of the same nature and charachter as the cowards who relegated us.
-
Just seen that Richard Offiong was released today, 27 years old now. Doesn't seem that long ago he was being spoken about in the same mould as Chopra when they were scoring for fun in the U18s and reserves.

Tioté looks like Bramble in that photo. Same retarded walking style.

Doncaster last season, my one and only away win (out of two games though). Loved every minute of it.

That Derby game. My first ever away game. Horror show.

Liverpool v NUFC Pre-match thread (01/05/2010 - 12 KO)

We tend to do well in these games nowadays. So take that and how predictable we've been, probably 5-0. -
A couple of my mates have picked up on him now. They usually just mock me because I hype every good NUFC player, but they're all in agreement here - signing of the season. He's been immense and I think there will definitely be bids for him in the summer but we'll hold on to him for one more season. Really a player to build your team around this.

How was that Diaby challenge not even a free kick let alone a yellow?

Dzsudzsak would be a fantastic signing, probably not that unrealistic either. He's been tearing the Eredivise apart for the past seasons.
-
Probably it then, he said his future was "resolved" the other day. Super signing from Bayern.
-
Thought it was published today, sorry. Cheers.

So, that interview is up. Anyone care to recap it?
-
What an absolute joke if true.

Steinsson is decent enough, I'd take Elmander and Larsson as squad players as well.

Merks me to f*** that I used to rinse my BVB supporting mate that he used rant and rave about this kid about 5/6 year ago and he's been proven right. He's been one of Dortmunds key players this season. Fantastic on the occasions that I've seen them. Scored a cracker when they beat Bayern 3-1 at Allianz Arena.

3rd is the lowest they've finished in the PL era. There we go even better. f***ing crazy how consistent they've been. That team when they won the treble, has to be close to the Barcelona of today. I disagree. Well in terms of style anyway. They, like most teams (which isn't a disservice) would struggle to get the ball from Barcelona, and retain it as well. Fair point. Barcelonas style of play makes them unique (same goes for Spain atm). That Manchester United side was perfect in terms of their dynamic build up though.

A lot of people thought the same when we got linked with Ben Arfa. Aye, that said I'd love to be proven wrong here. Considering the hype surrounding Lukaku and not his actual ability, I find this even less likely than the HBA saga. I've seen him play on a couple of occasions, he's a beast in the making from what I can tell. Probably not 17 though
-
Why is any journalist even bothering to mention Lukaku and Newcastle in the same sentence? Non-starter. What would be interesting though is a couple of more links to players that we might actually go and get, like Gameiro and Gervinho.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
AlanSkÃrare replied to Pilko's topic in Football
There are loads of strikers his size that doesn't have his movement, determination or hunger. There is some sort of rare urgency about him, and add that super left foot and his no-nonsense mentality - surely there won't be many strikers like him around in the coming 10 years. A rare player that I think will certainly be worth every penny for them. Like Wullie just said, the perfect Premier League striker.
