Dyer and Speed complemented each other very well and gave us a superb, dynamic central partnership. We didn't miss Dyer that much during 02/03 due to the emergence of Jenas though. But Dyer was a much, much more intelligent footballer than Gutierrez and a much better passer of the ball as well.

Milan - Napoli tonight was one of the worst games I've watched since Sweden - Turkey in Euro 2000. How are those two fighting it out for the title down there? Lavezzi was missing for Napoli, should be taken into account, but the passing in that game was horrible and the fact that Milan are relying on Ibra, Robinho and Pato to do everything on their own (Cavani for Napoli) just goes to show that they are mediocre teams with very good centre forwards - the exact way Shearer described Marseille after they knocked us out of the Uefa cup with Drogba. Milan as usual fielding their super-creative-flair packed midfield of Gattuso-Van Bommel-Flamini. God I hate seeing Zlatan at that club.

Delighted to see a smaller (not the Sky 4 or Man C) club win a trophy again. Can't wait for the feeling when we finally get our hands on something. Sort of irritating at the same time considering how incredibly shit this Birmingham side is.

Wilshere is a fantastic talent, good mix of everything in there. Arsenal need to get more physical in their approach, but there isn't much you can do against Barcelona. Doubt I'll see a team this good again in my life.
