I think Gareth Bale is very overrated. Inconsistent and not that technically gifted. If you don't allow him any space to run into he offers very little. This has been my opinion of him all along, not just based on today's performance. How Capello can describe him as "the number one in the world" is beyond me.

Ashley brought him in to be "his man". He's going to do what Ashley asks him to do, he won't complain too much over player sales or make any sort of demand.
