Kluivert/Bellamy had such potential. Nevermind Bobby staying, anyone but Souness (ok maybe not Pards) would have done something of note with that team.

It really does. Proud time to be supporter of this team, the ambition and honesty in our football was a pleasure and so far from today's dross.
-
James Tomkins AGAIN according to tomorrow's Journal. Apparently we've been "warned off" Pardew pulling the strings?
-
Will be entertaining more than anything else. His post-match interview's are always honest, weird and entertaining at the same time.
-
Would be good for coverage over here more than anything else. We can do much better.

Rudi Garcia seems to be leaving Lille now as well. But fuck that, stability ftw.
-
We only need 3 quality players for said strength in depth tbf, 2 strikers and a winger should cut it if no one major leaves. Agreed but I don't think two players in is what Pardew meant. Our squad is definately big enough for next season. Need a few out and one striker in if nobody leaves. Perhaps a winger as well.

Tomorrow's Journal says "Quality not quantity the target for NUFC". Pardew's been on about "strength in depth" for about a month. No coherence, no plan, no way forward.

Says he wants Champions League football. Next.

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143
AlanSkÃrare replied to bowlingcrofty's topic in Football
FFS that's about the worst I've seen. Usually not that prone to condemn our kits as they seem to grow on me. But that's absolutely ridiculous. -
Still love Bellamy. What a player he was for us. It seems Shearer wasn't and isn't the easiest person to deal with, neither was Bellamy. Their indifferences do not surprise me nor do they interest me. Blaming the defence etc. in that semi-final however is ridiculous. We were outplayed by a far superior team during a season in which pretty much every team outplayed us. A typical Souness performance.

Fuck Anzhi. Fuck Monaco. Fuck PSG, Chelsea, Manchester City, Malaga, Zenith, Shakhtar. It's complete madness.
-
I love Ben Arfa. He's what you want as a football supporter. Wild imagination, creativity, insane goals and endless optimism everytime he's on the ball. There aren't many like him. I'll be devastated when he goes, whenever that might be.
-
Dries Mertens anyone? We need potent wingers and seem to have scouted a bit in Holland in the past few years.
-
I'd worry about the defending his team has put on show. They've been suicidal so many times.

I have no idea what you're getting at tbh. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22680217 He's basically saying they don't want to follow us in the respect that we sunk after one good season. There's no indication that we're in for Canas whatsoever.

Can't explain why but when we played Inter at the San Siro in 2002/03. So proud of that performance, it has really stuck with me. Otherwise: Sweden getting the 4-4 draw against Germany last fall, then England-Argentina in 1998 and Argentina - Romania in 1994.

They'll be fine. It's more about the team and mentality than the individuals. They've lost Kagawa and Sahin in recent years, still emerged from it. De Bruyne will fuck shit up in that team.

This Newcastle Brown Ale "No Bollocks" campaign is brilliant, some excellent ads. Wish the club took some part in it instead of the opposite, i.e. spit nothing but bollocks and play bollocks all the time.
