Worse IMO. More malice in this one.
-
Hope he starts today if Cabaye is out.

My exact thoughts.
-
Probably chance of more playing time for this lad now that Ben Arfa is out.
-
The sadness I feel knowing I won't see him more is way beyond proportion, he's probably my favourite thing about Newcastle at this moment. This piece of news completley took away all the joy I felt last night and the excitement of drawing Benfica. It'll pass but this is shit news. Really shit.

Three years and we've only seen him start 38 games, feels like robbery. 200 more f***ing sleeps now.
-
That's what pisses me off, him constantly talking shit.

For me thats whats make great players. Just do the simple things. Seriously, his short passing most be the best in this team, attacking wise.

They may not have thought it was necessary then? Isn't it their job to get those judgements right?

Why the fuck didn't he have this operation in December?

Can't wait until Ryder publishes an article on their players and highlights the threat of Hello John.

We need to rotate. I think it's time to start thinking about resting Sissoko/Cabaye in order for them to be fit for Europa League. I'd have no problem with Campbell starting, he'd offer more going forward than Jonas/Shola/Papiss whom we've previously seen in that position. Marveaux deserves a start. He might be knackered from last night though, worked his bollocks off. -
His performance was pure schizofrenia last night. Some excellent tackles and crosses, a couple of baffling decisions, attempted passes and tackles. Needs to find balance in his game. I thought he was slightly better in 2nd half but still kept doing things he shouldn't.

Don't want Rubin either, time to go somewhere else than eastern Europe. We seem to be hacking it over there though... I genuinely think we can beat any of these sides, Chelsea and Spurs obviously the biggest threats. The latter collapsed without Bale last night (not saying they can't play without him and they probably will have him back), and Chelsea still under some sort of crisis despite recent results. Torres is shocking and Demba can't play in Europe. Benfica is a very good side as well. The one I fear the most outside of Chelsea and Spurs.

With him and Taylor playing like this, we stop teams from winning headers in the box and they struggle to get in behind us because of Mapou's pace. The way he handled Eto'o last night was perfect.
-
Pardew for all his faults, it feels bloody good reaching the QFs and going into them knowing Graeme Souness is not our manager this time.
-
Just needs to click with the other players. When they learn his game he could be lethal, still think the fact some of us are under the impression that his runs are ignored is because we all want to see him on the ball . A real option from now until the end of the season however, can definately play across the front three. Great to see Pardew put such belief in him to put him tonight, must mean he really rates him. Looks to have a good footballing brain as well, kept everything tidy and didn't try too hard.

Showed will and fight tonight, had a real impact and was our best offensive force. Superb eye and such great technique. Think he's won back his starting spot now.
