It's not over yet, like. A point here isn't relegation as long as other results go our way. I mean, I think we're going down, but I don't think it's a sure thing yet. -

Oh, look, we've conceded from a set piece. -
That game man I was apoplectic at Carroll when he dived.

Very very worried today. This game could have a bigger impact on the club than any in years. Win and the dream of being in the PL with a world class manager is on, we might even win something. Lose and it sets us back years -

I'm happy with Sissoko at LB because he's a major factor in our dysfunctional attack, get him out of the way and we might score a couple. -
"sustaining the injury happened in a split second" really?
-
His crossing is shite, like. Been saying it for ages.
-
Not a bad interview, in the end.
-
By May, I'll have convinced myself that he's fallen in love with the club, feels guilty and pledges to bring us straight back. Especially if no other job comes up. But realistically he'll go. Valencia will probably be looking. As if we'd pay him the wages anyway. We'd be the ones invoking the clause, before he can even think about it. Probably true Dave. But remember how certain you were that we wouldn't pay his wages while we were in the premier league?
-
Not really. I always thought he was an average squad player and I did say that at the time he went to you lot. I always preferred him at left back rather than midfield because his influence on the game was often poor when he was in the middle of the park. I can't ever remember him getting MOTM at our place, and he played over 100 times for us. After watching his display against Borini on Sunday (a player who's been bang average this season) I think he's probably best off on the bench. He's just so obviously deficient, worst regular starter we've had in ages. I'm struggling to think of a worse one since Smith.

It's the little stuff like that, the stuff you can't bring up when people ask you why you hate him so much (because it doesn't mean anything to them, so it's dismissed). It all adds up to the vast amount of loathing I have for him. Little things like how he froze HBA out for weeks and then finally gave him a game at Old Trafford and played him up front. Calculated shit like that. One thing I'm absolutely positive of is that we wouldn't be in a relegation battle this year if HBA was still here. Pardew's been gone all this time but we're still suffering due to his incompetence.

Was Colback as loathed by your lot as he is on here?

Absolutely make or break. Going to be a horrendous watch. I've got faith in Rafa to get us a win though. -
Jamaal Lascelles (now playing for League One Leicester City)

What? His passing is good man -
Has exceptional close control and balance
-
Yeah, still our best chance of a goal, he might be back just in time.
-
Looked our most dangerous player imo.
-
I'm just holding on to the ridiculous premise that he's going to stay anyway
-
Responsible for their goal today, very disappointing to see a professional footballer ball watching when he's marking the only threatening player on the opposing team.
-
Unreal! Wish we could bottle his passion and feed it into others. His lack of goals has been an issue for us a team but as a player I have no worries in him at all. His all round game is far better than i expected, his chest control up with the best I've ever seen. He's not just the nutcase who wants a fight, he wants to fight for his team, many of which in our squad don't want to do. If we do go down God forbid, Mitro is someone we should be supporting and fighting to keep because he's the type to fire us back up. He's improving all the time. His chest control is up with the best you've ever seen??? Pity he cannot win a ball in the air for shit then and very rarely jumps at all for any always wants to chest it down. He has the first touch and control of a baby elephant man We get it. Stop.
-
Shit and annoying. Literally no redeeming features, awful footballer.
-
I like him a lot, only partially because of his ability, it's just hard not to like him imo. I see the arguments against him regarding his weaknesses, but I think he can be an effective striker in this league with the right coaching. If we stay up he'll not be our main striker next year but I've no doubt he'd be a very valuable part of the squad for Rafa.
