He’s potentially been worth £35m?
-
Is he worth the money we paid?
-
I see Thiaw’s shit now, as well

Don’t care about the mockery. Do care about the transfer fee.
-
Aye you for real like?
-
Leaving him out of the squad for 5-6 games at the end of the season would take loads off his value.

Initialism. They were used in ancient Roman and Greek civilisations.
-
Meanwhile, in reality, this hasn’t happened.
-
Good player who can play multiple positions, I approve.
-
For the money we paid, Thiaw has been a roaring success.
-
My point is, they’re going to stay
-
Elitemery needs to sort this out like, arsehole.
-
Howe does have a choice on players like Willock, Elanga, Wissa, and Woltemade, though. That’s the point.
-
Pilko’s correctly identified above that there is a certain amount of turnover which will beyond Howe’s control. Basically, the players who actively want to leave and can’t be denied, for whatever reason. He won’t want too much turnover (no coach ever does and EH is on the cautious side) so anyone he can keep which he still sees value in as a player, he will keep. One of Pope or Ramsdale will still be here. Wissa will still be here. Elanga, Ramsey, etc. Woltemade is more likely to be here than not IMO. I reckon Howe will think he can integrate him with more training time next season.
-
Howe will begrudgingly move on from players like Trippier, perhaps Willock, if Tonali leaves he’ll be replaced. The likes of Elanga, Wissa, Ramsey aren’t going anywhere. I think Woltemade is borderline TBH.
-
Why do some people persist with this? We’re not signing 9 new players man
-
Both of them gaslit the fans. Bruce was lazy with it, just like everything else. Pardew was very busy with it, you could tell he saw it as part of his role.
-
I hate Pardew on a visceral, elemental level. No other manager is even in the same league.
-
They’re exceedingly rare and Howe’s a cautious manager who prioritises trust, long-term relationships, experience, and familiarity with his system. Players will leave, undoubtedly. But it won’t be massive turnover.
