Eales did build a professional football club from absolutely nothing like, TBF. Surely that requires quite the skill set.

The more time goes on the more I think just build a new stadium (in city centre) and ramp up income as much as possible while making it affordable for average fans.

Definitely nothing suspect about a relative of the head coach being quickly promoted while the club are between sporting directors.

As I said, I liked watching him. He was a complete waste of time in an EH team.

I missed the vast majority of the Bruce time because I didn't care, so I have no great emotional attachment to ASM. He was nice to watch and that but he usually did nothing (although I thought he was pretty good at times under EH). He couldn't play in EH's team, he was a waste of a shirt, he did nowt, Barnes will be much better in the long term.

I can understand that. For me, as long as we’re in the fight for 7th I’m satisfied, given the circumstances. I do think we need an impressive performance ASAP to get everyone’s confidence back.

I also think Pope has been our biggest miss.

Yeah, but that's ignoring the context. In Howe's time here we've been great more than we've been bad. The bad spell has corresponded with a ridiculous amount of mitigating circumstances. It's a big assumption that we're heading towards a substantial regression. In fact, Howe's time here so far suggests that he will turn it around once the mitigating circumstances abate somewhat.

The phrase he used was 'was that pattern #'?. And yeah, there's been some stuff published on EH focussing a lot on muscle memory for how the players move when the ball is in certain parts of the pitch, through repetition.

Alternatively, the majority of people fall in to the 'in-between' space, and a few of them think you put across poor arguments, and tell you so.

The other team get paid, too.

Obviously in the minority here but I didn't think we were that bad TBH. Tough game away to a very motivated team, we're not in great form but we did enough to get through.

Only under controlled circumstances, obviously. Otherwise just leave it.
