I was creased up when be halved modric and started shouting at Jonas as if to say 'look what you made me do!'

There was one point yesterday when Cabaye played the ball between two spurs players and Ben Arfa turned and ran straight at them, that's what's gonna be so good about having him in the team,as soon as he picks it up the opponents are on the back foot

some people will stop at nothing to acknowledge a good performance by our 'figures of hate' another shocking statement. imo, Santon showed more positive qualities in 15 mins than Simpson did in 75. I saw it, with my own eyes, it happened, imo I completely agree with you DrV, I thought the Santon switch was an astute decision at the time (Bale looked to be getting more space against a flagging/stretched Simpson) and Santon is not exactly short of attacking flair. My post to HowK was about his steadfast refusal to acknowledge Shola's contribution, crediting the change in performance solely to Ben Arfa (and Santon) instead...because they're 'cool' players Fair do's man,Shola was fucking unreal like -
Agree with this,I had imagined 4-2-3-1 working, but we're doing so well I don't think the formation needs changing
-
Maybe he feels like a tit milking the applause after a 15 minute cameo? Its nothing to worry about yet imo,I get the feeling he's had enough of being sent on to save the day with little time left, that's one of the main reasons he moved here
-
Can't see Pardew changing the system beyond making it 1 up front with Ben Arfa behind. He's reluctant to change winning personnel, never mind the system.
-
He's definitely had a few 'Pardew give us a wave' chants in the last two games I like him
-
Was great today, got out wide and dropped deep too, caused them problems all over.
-
Needs 90 against Wigan and I think he'll get it. This straight down the tunnel thing is daft man,he'll be fine as long as he gets games, which he deserves to. Best has played well but he can't do anything Ba can't do better. Ben Arfa will give us a different dimension to our attacking.

MOTD still saying we've not played anyone good FFS,and then 'look who they've got coming up in november' So fuck, man city and man u away we're expecting 0 points, and we've gotta play em som time, our season won't be decided on those results,it's beating the shite we've always had problems with and we're turning that around now,why haven't any of the pundits picked up on this? -
Is Pardew off his tits? Doesn't he realise Santon was signed as a left back? Looked great IMO,I know it's only 15 mins but sometimes you can just tell by the way a player carries themselves, they're attitude to the game and comfort in possession, excited about this lad.

This is it tbh. Of course it is,and he's only getting 20 mins every week. Over 90 mins we'll see a different player imo

Observations: We're clearly a good team this season Marveaux deserves a crack at RW,Obertan's still frustrating to watch The difference between Simpson and Santon was like night and day, there can't be any more excuses for Santon not playing. He was comfortable on the ball, positive, and could pass Ben Arfa looked very handy, deserves a start against Wigan -
O'Shea really showed his class there!
-
He's gone like, there's no way they'll accept being told to stop obsessing over us. Rather than take his advice (hypocritical as it is,given he never shuts up about us) they'll increase the denial and more will call for his head. It's a bit of a shame as it's great fun watching him be so utterly clueless on the pitch and in the media. We can only hope the next manager can set up a team to dominate games as well as Bruce

You enjoying Craig Gardner, mate? Gardner 1-0 Cabaye Surely this "world class" (copyright Newcastle Online) midfielder will find it within himself to score a goal soon. Surely. you can keep your goal scoring midfielder and your 6 points,we'll keep the midfielder that actually contributes to the team and our 15 points. Everyone's happy -

Sunderland were over 7 points clear of seventh towards the end of January, having played well over half the league games. Newcastle "might" be 7 points clear of 7th after.....erm 8 league games. Delusion. Yeah you're right,I'm really glad you warned us about Cabaye as well, phew that was close. -
Ref's got so much wrong
-
This is so frustrating. It's like ferguson's trying to make it fairer,he's got better players on the bench than Liverpool have got on the pitch. Liverpool are creating nothing, get nani,Rooney and Hernandez on and put them out of their misery.
-
will be so happy when the contracts signed, love him. he's proved me wrong as well, i thought he was useless in the air after that first season but he's adapted really well.
-
He's played right and left back for both U21's and senior teams. He's drew plaudits as a left back. Primarily he's a left back. Do you reckon Phillip Lahm has people tapping him on the shoulder every 30 seconds saying he should play right back? No. Right footed left back, like Lahm, Maldini, Irwin, etc etc it can be done. considering my whole post was about the idea that playing him at RB shouldnt be sneered at if it's best for the team, you haven't made a single worthwhile point. It wasn't singularly in response to yourself - as much as you would like that, more in response to a mentality and people who just cant get their heads round a right footed player on the left are just as blinkered. Anyway.... and here's me thinking that we use quote's to refer to and answer each other's posts Yay! Internet war! ok mate i make post you make post replying i say that isnt really relevant you say you're not talking to me anyway cracking debate
