  1. Is anyone actually suggesting this? Well people are suggesting we should sign him permanently, so by deduction, yes they are. As far as I can see, people are saying we should sign him because of his playing ability. Nobody even mentions wages/fees. If they want too much money or he wants high wages/long contract, then no it probably won't happen. Doesn't mean I don't want him here. this, i've said i'm in favour of him coming here but never mentioned a contract length, transfer or loan or any of that. you lot are arguing with yourselves to be honest, i cant see anyone that's said it'd be a good idea to give him a long contract on high wages. loan or transfer with 18 month contract would be fine by me.
  2. i am worried about that too, i'm far from his greatest fan but if he goes, with sol looking likely to leave in the summer we'd be looking pretty thin at CB
  3. I know, that's why I supported the buy of Campbell. That's just my personal decision. I don't rate Keane, you may have other views on him. There are definitely cheaper and more talented striker out there tho. We don't need to unearth anyone either. Players like Shechter, Gameiro are both talented and fairly proven. for me it comes down to him being a proven striker in the league and seeming like he could work well with carroll. put it this way i'd be very confident of us staying up if we signed him. if carroll played for a different team and they signed keane to play alongiside him i'd definitely be thinking 'fuck, they're gonna score a hat ful'.
  4. Please no......... would you rather shola starting? that's my angle on it like Why is it an overrated 30 year old or Ameobi? How bout someone exciting? Keane has shown nowt at late. Spurs supporters don't rate him at all. because the context of the conversation dictates that it is, unless you want to talk about bringing in a different striker or dropping carroll for keane?
  5. on the condition that he stops doing the worst goal celebration in history (actually has he stopped doing it now? too bad for the hips?)
  6. It's more or less just facts and numbers. yep, and there was more in favour of ashley and less in favour of fred Telling, isn't it. fucked if i know, they're both cunts
  7. Please no......... would you rather shola starting? that's my angle on it like
  8. Please no......... think he's finished?
  9. The worrying thing is he's really into his stats, like the owners its a match made in heaven then again his ego after being made liverpool boss would be insufferable That might be our saving grace. Once appointed, his head would swell to galactic proportions, and he'd be forced to quit because his bloated, empty head wouldn't fit through the door. it'd be worth it to see them get worse by spending more
  10. No, but how does that mean he's not settled? If he was truly settled, he'd have cut out the stupid incidents/mistakes. Just because he's playing better doesn't make him settled. he's settled by his standards
  11. It's more or less just facts and numbers. yep, and there was more in favour of ashley and less in favour of fred
  12. i cant help but feel that the tone is slightly biased in favour of ashley, there's nothing there i didnt already know tbf, apart from exact figures
  13. at first i thought he meant blackburn, but of course he means the premier league, but the inference of course is he's trying to say that every team in the league plays the way his team do. basically his 'winning' football bollocks has started to sound more and more desperate since he left bolton so now he's resorting to 'well everyone else does it'. which is obviously bollocks, the three teams that got promoted don't have to resort to it sam, neither should you.
  14. That is quite mind-blowingly stupid, even for that twat.
  15. drop JONAS! wash your mouth out young man Sorry. I should have realised what I was typing and just slapped myself in the chops! Maybe It's time I got dropped sit the next couple of plays out
  16. fairly simple i think, big and strong and decent on the deck, quick turn of pace and pretty skillful. crucially also though has a good footballing brain and just isnt scared of getting hurt, long may it continue.
  17. Aye, with 9 points from the previous 12 games. We drew with Derby at home, lost at Wigan and Reading, and only beat Fulham because of a last minute penalty. We were terrible, and drifting down the table. i seem to remember a relatively easy start to the season as well and some tougher looking games approaching before he went. god it was awful though, we definitely would have been in amongst relegation if he'd stayed.
  18. nah, he couldnt even get a game for portsmouth
  19. hahaha, good to have you back mate. not sure he's worthy of a botting though.
