Just message everyone telling them to bring a fiver*, it doesn't really matter how good the ref is (it'd make for a better game if he gave some dodgy decisions..!) - there's just something symbolic about having a non-player make decisions. We're not after the FIFA World Cup final set-up and expect everyone to take this as seriously as an actual match, but some people are travelling a long way for this and it'd be a bit shit for them if it was basically a kickabout in the park with a load of clearly shit decisions going the way of the loudest bastard. It doesn't even have to be a 'qualified' ref, just someone who knows the rules and fancies earning a few quid to blow the whistle every so often. *speaking from experience, this will also make your life a helluva lot easier when collecting money on the way in. you seem more passionate about it, you do it

'I bet she gives a tremendous titty wank' was my thoughts on the matter. That. http://blogs.mediotiempo.com/wp-content/uploads/Bianca%20Gascoigne3.jpg fuckin ell, easy on the photoshop lads, ahh i forgot she's actually rough as a badgers -
you and cp40 will be too busy with the big fella to worry about me

sorry lads it was me that was harping on about the ref but after all the hassle of confirming people/people dropping out etc etc i just couldnt be arsed to start another round of 'will you pay another quid'. saying that if anyone knows a qualified ref (i do but i reckon he'd be crap) feel free to tell him we'll give him the money and bring him, no-one's gonna say no to another quid, i think.

i'd love us to sign him

i suppose you would be pissed if you were only intenting on going when things were going well i dont intenD to give ashley any more of my money if he intenDs to employ such a woeful manager, whether things go well or not. all i was meaning was that id imagine most people who signed up for the 3 year deal were planning on keeping on going whatever the future brings, i personally didnt just pay up for 3 years on the back of Keegan having a OK run of results at the end of the season. i dont particularly like the owner of my local and hes spent fuck all on the decor but its not gonna stop me doing something i enjoy. bad analogy imo. football transcends most other things, its not like going to a pub, if the pub's not as good as you expect its disappointing but it doesnt affect you in the way it affects you if your team are terrible, you can choose another local, you cant choose another football team. as the owner of nufc he's a got responsibilities, and one of them is to make sure kinnear isnt our manager next season, and thats me already giving him massive leeway over the current state of affairs.

with respect, you're the one who's making his career an issue, not them, as far as i can tell from that programme. they hardly mentioned it apart from when they were trying to explain how he defines himself, all i heard from them was how they cared about their dad and didnt want him to be unhappy. i dont know the motivation behind the programme, and neither do you, but on that evidence i think its unfair to label them as only caring about him and calling him dad because he's famous. thespence - i'm not even gonna start with that pile of arse you've just written -

ok he's not the biological father, but if they call him dad, he's their dad. would you tell everyone who's adopted or who lives with a step parent who they can call what and who they can have personal relationships with? -

the kid was not old enough to remember when gazza was at his height of celebrity so probs see's him in a different light- i might be totally wrong but but the older two IMO want to hang onto him for who he is/was yeah its probably nothing to do with the fact that he's their dad like -
you were actually on the telly tonight, again. HOW do you manage it?

reds to go off like a rocket and go a couple up, blues to kick most of us in and pull it back to level, cp40 chins every one including his own team while hopping on one leg and diving header's the winner in on 90 minutes
