With Cisse, his problem hasn't been a lack of effort (as we saw last night), so dropping him isn't going to do a whole lot of good. We aren't going to win many of the next few games with or without him so I'd rather keep him on.

You know what their model for running football clubs is, right? Club: Red Bull Newcastle FC Nickname: Red Bulls Year Founded: 2014 Stadium: Red Bull Arena Kit Colors: Home-White/Red/Blue So its a question of selling our soul outright to Red Bull for Champions League football, or have Mike suck it out of us slowly, leaving us with nothing but a dried out husk. Hmmm...

It isn't, but it sure as hell is wearing me down

That's the best bit of news I've had all week. Pleasebetruepleasebetruepleasebetrue

Pretty much fucked it up for us today :/
-
Good to see him back, though.
-
I look forward to the Pardew fan club commenting on the selection tonight "Sissoko plays on the wing for France" "Gouffran said he could play on the right" "I need to skipole Pardew like the dirty little whore I am"
-
Cisse is going to score a worldy and prove all of us wrong.
-
25. Not really because then it would mean Cisse or Shola on the wing. It's a train-wreck of a formation no matter which way you look at it. Unless he's seen something specific in training, about this precise forward line - some kind of magical understanding between them - we will be tearing our hair out at the end of the game as per. Cisse on the left would be slightly more tolerable, and obvious given that it gives him a much better position to cut in and shoot from, but what do I know?
-
It could mean a 4-3-3 with Sissoko, Anita and Tiote in midfield, which at least sounds better on paper. 25.
-
Ok then, whose job is it to inspire confidence in the team? How did we lose all of the momentum and confidence that came from finishing 5th?
-
Kevin Nolan as player/manager.
-
I could have accepted a minor downturn in form (say, finishing 10th), but what we watched last season was the stuff of fucking nightmares. The Southampton and Reading games aren't going to fade away any time soon (missed most of the 3-0 drubbing by Sunderland).
-
Still not convinced tbh :/ For me, Enrique has set the bar for NUFC fullbacks and he... reminds me more of a younger Stephen Carr a lot of the time. Having said that, I still like him better than Danny Simpson.
-
You're still defending him after Sunday you f***ing mess. A select few players and a bit of luck with injuries gets you a 5th place finish in the Premier League. Fuck off We had almost the same team in the following season and finished 16th. What got us that then? A few select players not performing and not having luck with injuries?
-
Can't wait to see Cisse placing pinpoint crosses on Shola's head. Oh wait.
-
We'll go full strength and still lose this 0-2 against their reserves.
-
He can mark the likes of Benteke when our new £6m CB is busy marking fresh air. Jonas could do that and is better at it. Sadly.
-
6 losses in the next 7 matches will probably do just that, and get him out before 2014. I'm such an optimist.

Mate I must have watched a different game. How can you say there was no drive and passion from the players !!! We were the better side and any neutral observer would have say so. They were lucky with their winner. 9/10 Borini wouldn't have scored that one if he had the same chance again and again. Also dimmer and williamsons should have done better against both goals. Nah, we weren't. We had more of the ball, sure, but we didn't create any true opportunities besides punts from outside the box, and not to mention that we couldn't have scored a flukier goal.
-
I'm praying that Mike is just waiting until a replacement is found (fingers crossed that its not Kinnear) before sacking him.
-
Tiote Cabaye Marveaux Sissoko HBA Remy Marveaux in for Cisse, and we're not losing much anyway, in Cisse's current form.
