Yeah, that seems plausible enough. If that is the case Pardew might not have much longer left barring a miraculous upturn in form, because the next 7 games will almost certainly plant us in the bottom 3 on the form we're having.

You could have said the same thing about the rest of the team too, there just wasn't any cohesion between the defence, midfield and attack until later in the game. Everyone seemed to be content to do their own thing in their little part of the pitch. Cabaye coming on somehow glued the team back together, except Sissoko who just wasn't up for the game at all.

The only thing that is going to get him out the door is relegation. If he was going to be sacked for anything less than that he would have gone long ago.
