    Sunderland

Jesus Christ. If anything sums them up it's that they view a fascist as a visionary because he recognised ketchup may not be healthy in 2013.
  3. The fact this rumour is even gathering pace is hilarious enough.
  4. Cheers both. Might have to grab a couple of sizes to try and return. Doesn't help that I'm desperately trying to ditch some of the excess timber right now!
  5. Stupid question maybe but does Castore have a size guide anywhere that would be of use for that new top? Can't find anything on the NUFC shop site.
  6. I'm sure Bruce did him a favour and cleared the cupboards on his way out anyway.
  7. For the record I know there's no chance in hell of Bruce getting the job. But hypothetically speaking, would he even get a 'lift' out of them? That was essentially OGS's job. As Froggy's said, it doesn't seem like he lost the dressing room and they just need a lift. They need a clear plan and guidance, so surely Bruce would be the worst kind of 'manager' to bring in? Whilst knowing he's got no chance, I sure hope he keeps being championed for it.
  8. More meant his demeanour in general press pictures. That's just the first picture I've personally seen of him swept up in the euphoria of him at the match, which isn't to say he hasn't been before. EDIT: Assuming that was directed at me.
  9. Nice to see what actually looks like a genuine smile from Reuben. Feel like everything I'd seen so far looked extremely forced tbh. Not to get nit-picky or owt.
  10. I'd actually forgive the media if they help his push for the Man U job. I'll just accept they are actually that thick as fuck and not malicious toward NUFC.
  11. Definitely Given for me. Dubs 2nd though. Sure as hell not a single thing to debate as far as Dubs v Darlow. The only positive on Darlow is he's a good shot stopper and.. well.. all goalkeepers should be a good shot stopper to some extent. He's a bottom of the table goalkeeper if ever I've seen one. Looks good under the cosh because he gets to pull out a few fancy saves but if you actually watch the full 90 minutes, you realise he's half the problem in allowing that many shots on goal in the first place.
  12. I was only watching on a shitty river and haven't watched any of the match back so I could well be wrong, but it looked to me he was directing it to travelling fans, rather than against NUFC fans? Even so, I've no grudge against his celebrations. The guy spent three years at NUFC and was away on loan most of that time. He's got no affinity to the club. Also don't understand how anyone could muster boos for someone that again, managed three sub appearances in three years for us. He's a non-entity in the history of NUFC.
  13. Really tempted to grab one of those 'retro' shirts. Yeah it's a money grab but I wasn't ever buying one of the Fun88 shirts so balances out for me.

5 Madness to watch this 2 week transformation and effectively say nufc has zero chance of survival. Too much of the season left. And a transfer window. And most importantly a trash goalkeeper to punt to the bench.

    Joelinton

Oh, Joe. Fantastic performance overall, just a shame he couldn't cap it off toward the end there. Clearly the makings of a handy player there. I hope Howe can continue tapping in to that.
  16. If we can get Dubs back in goal ASAP then I'm still confident we won't even need to be worrying about relegation come the final day of the season. Otherwise we sure as fuck better be in the market for a 'keeper come January. Considering the state of this team for the past two years, for Howe to come in and transform them in to that in the space of two weeks? Wow.
  17. I was in utter shock when I started reading this thread.
  18. Doing a service to make sure Dubs comes back in ASAP. Cheers, Karl.
  19. Absolute fucking creeps. Fingers crossed running the club like an actual club means they can quickly get some security provisions in place. Imagine being 'those twats' the players probably all talk about before they go to make their way out of training, and having not an ounce of shame about it.

    Footy trivia

While this thread is bumped I suppose 'name the nufc manager who didn't attend his first match in charge' could be a good one in a few decades. Any other similar instances people can think of? I've no answers FYI, just curious!
  21. At least in this day and age you'd figure he can access a feed of the match and keep involved with decisions.

    Lee Charnley

Explains it a lot more. Still no respect for little weasel. But he clearly has none for himself so whatever.
