    Sunderland...

You stay classy Sunderland. Oh fuck off did someone say that Fucking hell. They manage to outdo themselves every fucking day. Fucking mongs.
  2. Wouldn't call it a blessing in disguise as such. Shame as he seemed to be winning people over the past few games. But it's just lucky we've got Marveaux to call on. Unless Pardew's going to make more changes, it won't be Barfa. He's not going to go back on the 'not a winger' statement already. Look forward to seeing Marveaux given a full chance.

    Sunderland...

I love little gems in the middle like this: So he went over the top in his description of Wickham, but he was spot on about the 'mackem way'.
  4. Only a few views there I know, but interesting to see the majority being very 'meh' towards Moyes. Can't help but feel they're going to get a shock the day he leaves, if they're still in this financial state. Love that pretty much every one of them said Obertan wasn't good enough.

    Sunderland...

Poor things. We've ruined football for some of them.
  6. Only ever remember it if I'm working and the tvs are already on Sky Sports. But it's the only football round up show I pay any attention to.

    Peter Løvenkrands

Never held any dislike towards Loven, been a good servant for how much he's cost us over the last few years. But his only use is the Carling Cup, and there's enough players coming through the youth system who, you would think, next season could perform just as admirably as him in those matches. Thank you for the Championship season and generally being a likeable bloke, and good luck.

    Leon Best

He didn't console him, he pointed him towards the fans who were singing his name. Pardew's man management really is superb, little things like that make all the difference. Fantastic thing to do if that's what it was.
  9. Fucking hell. Just seen this.
  10. The most worrying thing about Stoke and Pulis is the fact he's actively attempting to keep the same style. He's had a fair fucking whack to spend over the last few years and he has just added to the throwing cloggers. Fucking grooming a throw in taker to replace Delap ffs
  11. Yep, analysed that within seconds I'd say he has analysed her ring an arl Beautiful

    Olivier Bernard

Would be a great person to have involved as a face of the club.
  13. Completely forgot he was there until I watched the highlights from yesterday. Has he not been his old self so far?
  14. Andy Cole scored 4 hattricks in 93-94 So Ba is halfway. The heat is on.
  15. Best, Ba, Cabaye, Obertan, Jonas, Marveaux and Ben Arfa will be dangerous for us. I think we'll win. That's the spirit!
  16. I agree with the 'his shirt to lose' business. Which is why I also don't think Tiote should be left on the bench just for missing one game after some of his performances since getting back up to speed this season.

    Alan Pardew

Most definitely. Why I said tiniest of gripes. More than happy with the route we've taken.
  19. Well, the team can't really be changed after that, apart from Tiote to return. Would love to see the obvious three given good run outs from the bench under the right circumstances. Harsh on Guthrie, but who knows? Maybe we'll see a new lease of life under him in January and he can keep the competition aspect with Abeid while Tiote's away. Like Stoke, would be happy with a point here, tbf. 3 points is most certainly possible if the lads play like we know they can.

    Alan Pardew

Won't deny that that's the tiniest of gripes for me. And I mean tiniest. Was just something to be a little proud of, having such an English core to the team. Certainly won't lose sleep over it, like. As far as I'm concerned, Krul, Colo, Jonas, if they stay a few more years they'll be as adopted Geordies as the likes of Nobby
  21. Surely the fact an intentional break follows the match is more a reason to play him rather than rest him? Nah. Ease him back. Should've been in the reserves today tbh. Get him ready for the Manc/Chels triple header.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Lots of fans wrote off Enrique and Coloccini early on as well, while others insisted the quality was there and it would show through. Who was right in the end? Well Enrique was so shit we didn't give him a new contract and Colo is half the player Wes Brown is.
