Huh? Surely if he doesn't guarantee anything, then he's still not really saying whether he'd like to stay or leave? I honestly don't think he's made his mind up either way himself. I really do think we have more than a chance of keeping him. What we have to do to do so is a different debate, but the possibility has always been there IMO.

Such a threat at set pieces, and a faultless defensive performance today. A tough choice to make, as for defensive purposes I'd have Big Willi, yet when Saylor's on form, he's really fucking on form.

Can you name me a goalkeeper that isn't a GOOD SHOT STOPPER? Gomes/Schwarzer. What? Crumpy is right though. Stopping shots is the easiest part of keeping, especially for a young lad with such a stringy frame. Mentioning Gomez is an interesting one. Especially after one of his more recent errors Redknapp was bigging him up, saying he's a fantastic shot stopper and they should keep faith etc. Shot stopping is nothing if you can't mentally keep up. You can find a lot of average or worse 'keepers who can pull of 'wondersaves'.

It was such a beautiful sight I genuinely couldn't stop smiling. Don't think he put much of a foot wrong at all today. Good hold up play, good link up, worked his socks off up there.
