    Arsene Wenger

It's OK. Wenger will rectify the problem by getting rid of a couple of floaty, inconsistent attacking players, and replace them with a couple of floaty, inconsistent attacking players. It's funny because it's true.

;D Particularly tickled me, imagining Shola saying that.
  3. Okay, that does look pretty fucking sweet now I've had a few different views of that Marseille top.

That is some pretty ridiculous record for ol' Shaka.

    Sam Allardyce

Hope that shittip make an absolute hash of their next appointment. One side of my family are West Ham fans, and I don't particularly have a dislike for them. I just don't want to see success for that club until Gold and Sullivan are gone. Still irks me to fuck that they don't get more criticism than they do. Awful, awful people.
  6. Too likeable a bloke to be associated with that shower of shite club. But Ihe's not actually that good a manager that I thought he was at Chelsea, and it doesn't surprise me to see him relegate another club, even if the first one was the epitome of uphill battles.

    Sunderland...

    Quite obviously, yes.
  8. The epitome of once seen, it can't be unseen

    Sunderland...

    Fucking Facebook, man.
  10. I don't know why this post amuses me so fucking much.
  11. Nah. He was in the foetal position by the corner flag crying.
  12. When was the last time a relegation battle was this close? 4 teams, 2 spots, 1 point between them. Interesting week ahead.
  13. Huh? Surely if he doesn't guarantee anything, then he's still not really saying whether he'd like to stay or leave? I honestly don't think he's made his mind up either way himself. I really do think we have more than a chance of keeping him. What we have to do to do so is a different debate, but the possibility has always been there IMO.

    Sammy Ameobi

Man. This thread has the chance to be epic.
  15. Such a threat at set pieces, and a faultless defensive performance today. A tough choice to make, as for defensive purposes I'd have Big Willi, yet when Saylor's on form, he's really fucking on form.
  16. Can you name me a goalkeeper that isn't a GOOD SHOT STOPPER? Gomes/Schwarzer. What? Crumpy is right though. Stopping shots is the easiest part of keeping, especially for a young lad with such a stringy frame. Mentioning Gomez is an interesting one. Especially after one of his more recent errors Redknapp was bigging him up, saying he's a fantastic shot stopper and they should keep faith etc. Shot stopping is nothing if you can't mentally keep up. You can find a lot of average or worse 'keepers who can pull of 'wondersaves'.

    Shola Ameobi

It was such a beautiful sight I genuinely couldn't stop smiling. Don't think he put much of a foot wrong at all today. Good hold up play, good link up, worked his socks off up there.
  18. Certainly not one of his better days.
  19. Ridiculous to think that I now know I'm going to be mildly disappointed that we might not finish top 10
  20. Liked him. For a substitute who's just come back from a leg break and playing his first game in the PL this season. Pretty impressive, wasn't expecting to see much of him or Ameobi Lite when they came on, but they both made a bit of an impression. Can't be bad.
  21. Maybe there's been a bit of random big amounts being thrown on it by a few people, in hope, or as a result of random mutterings.
  22. Not going to judge Shearer on his stint with us. How pissed off were we when we discovered Hughton was leading us into our Championship campaign, after his attempts in our relegation season? Can't see him getting into management properly, not through lack of ability, but his own ideals as to the sort of job he wants.
